MrBeast Files Trademark for ‘Beast Band,’ Pointing to Wearable Device

Jimmy Donaldson, the YouTuber known as MrBeast, has filed a U.S. trademark application for “Beast Band,” a filing that points to plans for a wearable activity tracker, according to a blog post from trademark attorney Josh Gerben.

The application was filed September 21 with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on an “intent-to-use” basis, meaning Donaldson secured nationwide priority for the name before any product using it has reached the market, Gerben wrote.

The filing lands weeks after Google announced a multi-year partnership with Beast Industries built around Gemini and Google Health, which includes Gemini appearances in Donaldson’s videos and a Fitbit Air integration planned for an upcoming challenge video. Gerben noted that whether Beast Band connects to that partnership is not established by the filing itself.

Beast Band is the latest in a string of trademark applications Donaldson has filed since early 2025 covering ventures well outside content production. Those include MrBeast Mobile for wireless telephone service, MrBeast Financial for banking, investment advisory, cryptocurrency exchange and consumer lending services, MrBeast Social and Beast Social for Influencer Marketing and advertising services, Watchtime Studios for video production, and Creator Industries for a creator platform and business accelerator.

“Trademark filings are often one of the earliest public clues we get about where a company is headed,” Gerben wrote, adding that Donaldson’s filings “increasingly look less like those of a YouTube creator and more like those of a company attempting to build an entire ecosystem around one of the world’s most recognizable creator brands.”

Gerben cautioned that not every application results in a launched product.

The filing arrives against a backdrop of audience growth for Donaldson, who became the first individual creator to reach 500 million YouTube subscribers in June after adding 117 million subscribers in 2025, the largest single-year gain in the platform’s history. That scale has drawn an expanding set of brand partners, including the Google deal announced September 2 that made Donaldson the face of a new Gemini advertising campaign.
