MrBeast Reportedly Planning To Launch Mobile Service
YouTuber MrBeast is preparing to launch his own mobile phone service, according to a Business Insider report citing a leaked investor deck. According to the report, the 27-year-old content creator, who has amassed approximately 430 million YouTube subscribers, plans to establish a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) that will use existing infrastructure from major carriers.
The proposed service would operate by leasing network capacity from established telecommunications companies such as AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon. This approach enables the provision of mobile services without the capital expenditure required to build physical network infrastructure.
TechCrunch notes the strategy parallels that of actor Ryan Reynolds’ Mint Mobile, which T-Mobile acquired for approximately $1.35 billion. T-Mobile, which provides MVNO solutions, has previously worked with MrBeast on other initiatives.
Diversification Efforts
The telecom venture represents the latest addition to MrBeast’s expanding commercial portfolio, which includes food businesses Feastables and Lunchly, as well as a toy line called MrBeast Lab. These diversification efforts come as the creator seeks to enhance the overall profitability of his business.
While his YouTube operations and Prime Video reality competition show reportedly lost nearly $80 million last year, his Feastables brand generated around $250 million in sales and more than $20 million in profit, Bloomberg reports.
Business Insider also reports that MrBeast and executives at Beast Industries are evaluating opportunities in fintech and mobile gaming sectors, indicating further business expansion beyond content creation. According to the reports, while the timeline is not yet confirmed, the mobile service is being positioned for a potential 2026 launch as part of the creator’s broader brand extension strategy.
