Jackie Johnston, the social media personality known as “Coach Jackie J,” has signed with United Talent Agency (UTA) for representation, following the recent launch of her women’s sports podcast “Is She Game?” from Reign and Barack and Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Johnston will work with UTA to expand into digital and sports media, podcasting, brand partnerships, and onscreen roles in film and television. She continues to be managed by Curate Management alongside the new UTA deal.

“Is She Game?” releases a new episode every Friday, with the first installment premiering October 9 and featuring an interview with Billie Jean King. Johnston built her following, now 1.5 million across Instagram and TikTok, with coverage of the 2023 March Madness tournament and Women’s World Cup, and has since positioned herself at the intersection of sports and entertainment, covering everything from reality TV to lesbian pop culture for an audience UTA describes as women in sports and the LGBTQ+ community.

“Through her sharp analysis, humor, and relentless advocacy, she has built a passionate, fast-growing community across social media, championing women’s athletics and LGBTQ+ representation in sports,” UTA said in announcing the signing.

The deal extends a steady run of creator signings for UTA this year. The agency signed Canadian comedy duo Slushy Noobz, who run a YouTube channel with roughly 1.7 million subscribers, in October 2026, and has also added street-style interviewer Maurice Kamara, Dominican-American creator Jess Judith and pastry chef and YouTuber Amaury Guichon to its roster in recent months. 

The pace of signings follows UTA’s move to bolster leadership within its UTA Creators division, which the agency launched in 2006 as the first dedicated digital talent group among major agencies and which now represents creators including Jake Shane, Alix Earle, Emma Chamberlain, Keith Lee and Kareem Rahma.
