iShowSpeed is 2025’s Most-Searched Streamer According to Google
iShowSpeed ranked as the most-searched streamer of 2025, according to a new analysis posted by X7 Updates, a creator-economy and pop-culture tracking account.
The ranking draws on a full year of Google Trends data, combined with indicators of streaming activity, to identify the 15 streamers with the highest sustained search interest throughout the year. Unlike traditional streamer rankings based on followers, hours watched, or concurrent viewership, the methodology prioritizes global search frequency, capturing both long-term visibility and short-term viral spikes.
X7 Updates’ approach places iShowSpeed ahead of Kai Cenat, who ranked second, followed by CaseOh in third place, xQc in fourth, and Jynxzi rounding out the top five. Adin Ross placed sixth, with Pokimane ranking seventh.
The remainder of the top 15 included JasonTheWeen, PlaqueBoyMax, Fanum, FaZe Adapt, Valkyrae, ExtraEmily, Agent00, and Marlon.
Measuring Attention Beyond Platform Metrics
Search rankings often diverge from platform-specific performance metrics, highlighting differences between cultural visibility and in-platform dominance. On Twitch, for example, Kai Cenat remains the most-followed channel, with 20.1 million followers as of December 2025, according to Epidemic Sound. Ibai follows closely with 19.8 million followers, while Ninja ranks third with 19.2 million.
Spanish-language creators account for a significant share of Twitch’s top-followed channels, with Ibai, Auronplay, Rubius, and TheGrefg all appearing in the top 10. Streamers from North America, South America, and Spain collectively make up the entire list of Twitch’s most-followed channels, reflecting the platform’s regional audience concentration.
However, follower counts tell only part of the story. According to Stream Hatchet’s most recent annual report, which analyzed long-term historical viewing data, xQc leads Twitch in total hours watched, with 852 million across all streams, despite ranking fourth on X7 Updates’ search-based list.
While platform metrics reflect accumulated viewing behavior over time, X7 Updates’ ranking captures active public interest during 2025, including short-term viral moments that may not yet register in historical watch-time data.
Search Interest and Industry Recognition Converge
While search behavior differs across platforms, iShowSpeed’s top position in X7 Updates’ ranking aligns with recent industry recognition.
The creator was named “Streamer of the Year” at the 2025 Streamer Awards, held December 6 at The Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles. The ceremony reached a peak of 965,746 viewers across platforms, making it the most-watched edition in the event’s five-year history, according to Stream Charts.
iShowSpeed also won “Best IRL Streamer” at the ceremony and was previously named “Most Influential Creator of 2025” by Rolling Stone. He maintains more than 44 million YouTube subscribers and 41 million TikTok followers, with nearly 5.7 billion total YouTube views. His global travel content, including viral appearances across Latin America and Europe, has driven recurring search spikes throughout the year.
