Billion Dollar Boy Group Acquires B2B Creator Marketing Agency Creator Authority

Billion Dollar Boy (BDB) Group has acquired Creator Authority, the Los Angeles-based B2B creator marketing agency and LinkedIn Marketing Partner. BDB Group said in an announcement that the combination will push its global revenue past $100 million in 2027, building on a reported 24% rise in revenue over the past 12 months.

Creator Authority was founded in 2023 by Brendan Gahan, who previously built and sold Influencer Marketing agency Epic Signal to Mekanism, where he served as partner and chief social officer. The agency joined the LinkedIn Marketing Partner Program in April and works with clients including Amazon, Adobe, AT&T, IBM, Dropbox, Gamma, HubSpot, Lovable, Mastercard and Notion.

That roster moves into BDB Group alongside the Group’s existing B2C businesses: Billion Dollar Boy, FiveTwoNine and the AI-powered platform Companion.

Gahan has become SVP of B2B at BDB Group, responsible for market development and new business growth in the category. Co-founder Cassie Jackson is now Group Account Director, B2B, overseeing client delivery. The move adds Los Angeles and Austin offices to BDB Group’s existing New York and London presence.

“Over the past two decades, creators have transformed consumer advertising,” Gahan said. “We launched Creator Authority because we believed B2B was next. Now the market is quickly catching up, and joining BDB Group gives us the global reach and infrastructure to meet that demand at scale.”

A Bet on B2B Creator Spend

BDB Group commissioned Censuswide to survey 1,000 brand leaders and senior marketing or advertising decision-makers across the U.S. and UK between September 24 and October 1, and the resulting research, released alongside the acquisition, found that one in five marketers (20%) invested in B2B creator marketing in 2026, making it the second most popular strategic Creator Economy investment of the year.

The same survey found B2B creator marketing delivered the strongest ROI among the creator strategies marketers tried. LinkedIn’s own data shows 59% of B2B buyers consume creator content on the platform, more than on any other. eMarketer projects U.S. Influencer Marketing spend will grow from $10.5 billion in 2025 to $13.7 billion by 2027.

That growth follows a broader run-up in B2B creator investment: CreatorIQ reported creator marketing spend rose 171% year over year, with 61% of B2B marketing leaders planning to increase creator content budgets.

The deal was advised on Creator Authority’s side by James Creech of Quartermast Partners, the same firm whose research tracked a record 70 Creator Economy M&A transactions in the first half of 2026, with agencies accounting for 21.4% of that volume. BDB Group’s acquisition adds to a year in which non-endemic and strategic buyers have moved on creator marketing and agency assets at a pace Quartermast has called a sign of market maturity rather than speculation.

“B2B is one of the most significant growth opportunities in creator marketing,” said Ed East, BDB Group founder and CEO. “Combining that specialist expertise and market credibility with BDB Group’s global scale and proprietary technology gives us a powerful opportunity to build the leading B2B creator tech platform.”

The acquisition was led for BDB Group by Thomas Walters, the company’s Chief Innovation Officer and co-founder.
