AiMCO Launches People’s Choice Award For Australian Creators

The Australian Influencer Marketing Council (AiMCO) has opened voting for its inaugural People’s Choice Award, marking the first time audiences can directly vote for creators in the organization’s annual awards program.

Voting opened November 30 and runs through January 31, 2026. Any creator shortlisted for the 2025 AiMCO Awards qualifies for consideration in the People’s Choice category.

39 Creators Nominated

The award features 39 nominees representing multiple talent management agencies. JRM Group represents seven nominees, while Day Management and Born Bred Talent each represent five creators. Neuralle represents four nominees, with Huume Management and One Daydream each representing three. Made by Muse Agency and ICON Management each have two nominees, while Vive Management and Spawnpoint Media each have one.

Notable nominees include podcast duo Toni and Ryan, represented by their individual accounts @ryan.jon and @tonilodge, along with individual creators Tait McGregor and Adelle Petropoulos from One Daydream.

Entries for 2025 Awards

The People’s Choice Award joins the 2025 AiMCO Awards program, which attracted a record number of entries this year. More than 100 creators, brands, and agency talent appear on the shortlist across multiple categories.

The awards program includes several new categories for 2025: long-term ambassador/partnership, creator-led brand/business, best unsung hero, stand-alone influencer campaign, and marketing team of the year.

“The People’s Choice Award is an important new category for our 2025 awards, recognising the desire to directly support and celebrate our favourite creators,” Patrick Whitnall, AiMCO Managing Director, said in a statement.

“This award is an opportunity for everyone to get behind the creator community – it’s our way of amplifying the voices of our creators’ many fans, collaborators, and supporters, giving them a chance to publicly acknowledge the work and achievements of their favourite influencers.”

The winner is scheduled to be announced at the AiMCO Awards ceremony in February 2026.
