Giordano’s Enlists Food Creator Adam Witt for Limited-Edition Great Chicago Fire Pizza
Giordano’s, the Chicago deep-dish pizza chain, has partnered with food content creator Adam Witt to launch a limited-edition stuffed pizza called the Great Chicago Fire, available for nationwide shipping.

The three-pound pizza layers hot Italian sausage, Calabrian pepperoni, Chicago-style giardiniera from Caruso Provisions, a pound of mozzarella, and Calabrian chili honey inside Giordano’s stuffed deep-dish crust. Each pizza is handmade at the brand’s Rush Street location in Chicago before being frozen and shipped to customers to bake at home.
Witt, who built his channel around cooking and food history, said the brand’s willingness to tell a fuller story of Chicago pizza drew him to the collaboration. “What sold me was that they wanted the actual story of pizza in Chicago, not just a commercial,” Witt said in a press release. “That meant telling the whole thing, deep dish and tavern style both, because Chicago pizza was never just one thing. Giordano’s is built into that story.”
Witt also tied the product’s name and ingredients to the city’s food identity. “Giordano’s took stuffed pizza and made it famous, and that’s a big part of why the rest of the world considers Chicago a pizza city,” he said. “It’s hot Italian sausage, pepperoni, and giardiniera stuffed inside a deep dish, and giardiniera is the condiment this city runs on. The name is about the heat, not the history, though I’d be lying if I said the history didn’t help.”
Giordano’s has operated since 1974, when brothers Efren and Joseph Boglio introduced a 200-year-old family stuffed-pizza recipe pioneering what is now internationally known as Chicago-style stuffed pizza. The company now runs nearly 60 locations across nine states and ships nationwide.
