Underscore Talent Adds 20+ Hires Across Divisions, Launches Experts Unit
Talent management firm Underscore Talent has added more than 20 employees across five divisions, including a newly created experts unit designed to represent founders, professionals, educators, and thought leaders, per Variety.
The hiring spans the company’s comedy, sports and outdoor lifestyle, entertainment, beauty, lifestyle and fashion, and experts divisions. The expansion comes as creators, entertainers, athletes, comedians, and experts build businesses across content, brand partnerships, live experiences, intellectual property, and traditional media, according to the company.
New Comedy Lead
Among the senior additions, Ethan Stern joins as a comedy talent manager, coming from 3 Arts Entertainment, where he spent 15 years representing comedians, writers, filmmakers, and artists. His producing credits include “Hannah Einbinder: Everything Must Go,” “Aaron Chen: Funny Garden,” and the forthcoming Netflix special “Stamptown.”
“I’m excited to join Underscore at such a pivotal moment in the evolution of talent management,” Stern said. “What drew me to the company is its unparalleled position at the intersection of digital and traditional entertainment, along with the exceptional resources and intellectual capital it offers. Underscore is uniquely equipped to help artists build sustainable, long-term careers across every platform.”
Division Additions
The new experts division has hired talent managers Gautham Dhaliwal and Michael Jones. In sports and outdoor lifestyle, Tim Warnement joins as director of talent, and Ethan Rosenzweig as talent manager. Jon Henson returns to Underscore as director of talent and media development, covering comedy, entertainment, and Shorthand Studios. Kamla Pande joins as senior director of talent in the beauty, lifestyle, and fashion division, and Toni Rose Goulden joins as director of talent in the entertainment division.
Co-founder and co-CEO Dan Weinstein described the buildout as an investment in specialized teams equipped to support talent across content, brand partnerships, live experiences, intellectual property, and traditional media.
“The future of talent management isn’t about separating creators from entertainers, athletes, comedians, or experts,” Weinstein said. “We’re investing in specialized teams that understand the nuances of each category while building the infrastructure, partnerships, and development opportunities that help talent grow beyond any single platform or medium.”
