Twitch Star TheSushiDragon Takes Ownership Stake In StreamerDap To Transform Creator Sponsorships

StreamerDap, a sponsorship platform connecting brands with livestreamers, adds Twitch creator TheSushiDragon (Stefan Li) as co-owner in an equity partnership announced October 17. The deal positions the technology-focused streamer to guide platform development and serve as a brand ambassador for the company.

The platform facilitates non-intrusive brand integrations for livestreamers, with a focus on helping micro- and mid-tier creators develop sustainable business models. According to TwitchTracker data cited by the company, livestreaming now surpasses 7 million active channels monthly.

Creator Transitions to Business Role

Li joins StreamerDap’s leadership at a time when the company reports successful outcomes from its Beta testing, including converting part-time creators to full-time professionals. The company highlights creator “DietBob” Soni Mulroy as one example of a streamer who transitioned to full-time content creation through the platform’s monetization opportunities.

As part of the partnership announcement, StreamerDap revealed plans for new educational features developed by Li, including step-by-step tutorials for creators to build interactive brand moments. The company also plans to introduce AI-powered brand safety capabilities and pay-per-click campaign options to complement current CPM buying.

The partnership launched during TwitchCon 2025, where Li will begin his formal ambassador role. Behind the scenes, he already contributes to StreamerDap’s product roadmap based on creator feedback and needs.
