LTK Rolls Out New “Price Drop” And “Back In Stock” Badges To Boost Summer Sales Haul – Here’s The 411

Creator commerce platform LTK has unveiled a new feature to improve the shopping experience on its platform in time for the summer sales season. The company has added “Price Drop” and “Back in Stock” badges that will appear on product listings throughout its shopping app.

The new badges are designed to help shoppers quickly identify deals and restock opportunities without requiring extra effort from creators using LTK. The alerts are powered by LTK’s artificial intelligence system, which continuously scans its catalog of over 450 million products from 8,000 retailers to detect price changes and inventory updates.

This launch coincides with a crucial sales period for LTK creators. According to the company’s data, July and August are the second biggest sales drivers of the year after the holiday season. This summer, a significant back-to-school shopping surge is also expected to start even earlier than usual.

LTK’s recent Back-to-School Study found that one-third of consumers plan to begin their back-to-school shopping by June, with nearly 70% starting in July. However, overall back-to-school spending levels are predicted to remain consistent, with 80% of those shopping for children stating they will spend the same or more compared to 2022.

With over half of consumers now shopping based on creator recommendations (a 64% annual increase), LTK is positioning these new Shopper Alerts to streamline the summer and school shopping experience across its platform.
