Linktree vs. Everlink – Feature Comparison for Creators and Influencers

There are several link-in-bio tools available, and in this article, we will compare Linktree and Everlink to help you decide which one is the best fit for you.

Which link-in-bio tool works best for creators?

The link in your bio is a crucial aspect of your profile and personal branding. It is one of the first things your followers will likely interact with when clicking on your profile, so you want to make sure you are giving off a good first impression.

It is important to ensure that the link is effective in attracting clicks. In the past, many social media users, content creators, or management teams would have to frequently update their bio link to promote their latest content or products.

Now, however, many influencers and content creators use personalized landing pages that offer a single, easy-to-use link with access to all their information. This saves time and keeps followers engaged.

Linktree

Perhaps the most famous of the landing page tools, Linktree is a popular link-in-bio tool that was created in 2016 by Australian brothers Alex and Anthony Zaccaria and their business partner Nick Humphreys. It was designed to make it easier for users to change the links in their bios without constantly updating them. Linktree quickly gained a large following and now has over 30 million users, including many celebrities.

Since its inception, Linktree has faced competition from other similar tools, but it has managed to stand out as a leader in the industry. It has received recognition for its innovation, including being named to CNBC’s “Upstart 100” list of promising startups and being named the Most Innovative Company in 2020 by Fast Company. This has previously been recognized by major companies such as Reddit, Glossier, and Periscope.

What features does Linktree offer?

Linktree provides a range of features at no cost, such as: unlimited links, protection for sensitive information using link locks, integration with TikTok, the option to receive payments through Paypal and Square, limited customization options for themes, and limited analytics including data on unique clicks, click location, and click-through rate.

Here’s an example of what your analytics could look like:

On their free plan, you have access to the total and unique views, total and unique clicks, as well as the click through rate.

Additionally, Linktree offers free themes, headers, and customization options for your profile picture, title, and bio description.

Below are some theme options you can find on Linktre.e

As you can see, though, most of the themes are behind a paywall and require you to upgrade to a subscription plan.

Linktree offers three subscription options: the Starter plan for $5 USD per month, the Pro plan for $9 USD per month (which is recommended by Linktree), and the Premium plan for $24 USD per month.

The Starter plan includes added customization options like a spotlight link and scheduling feature, as well as the ability to upload custom images and videos.

The Pro plan includes most of the Premium plan’s features, with a few exceptions, such as unlimited themes, advanced analytics, the ability to remove Linktree’s branding, and enhanced customer support.

The Premium plan is tailored for large businesses and includes a customer service manager, fast support response times, an onboarding call, and access to exclusive content. This plan is referred to as Linktree’s “VIP” option. If you are an individual creator, or influencer, or run a small business, you can probably stick to the Pro or Starter plan without a problem.

Everlink

Everlinks is another link-in-bio tool aiming to be the next big landing page tool. Known for their ability to shorten links, Everlinks may be the best choice if you are needing to redirect traffic to other social media pages. A company on the smaller side, there are currently nearly 3,000 Everlinks currently on the market, yet over 200,000 tracked page views.

The software comes with a Rich Text Editor for creating content and a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor for making live edits.

With easy-to-use tools and simple design modifications, Everlinks could be a great starting option for new creators.

What features does Everlinks offer?

With 6 Biolink Pages, you can create an unlimited number of Biolink Blocks, with a total of 27 enabled. Biolink blocks are the different types of links and content you can add to your individual page.

You also have access to 6 shortened links, 6 file links, (create dynamic, advanced, and downloadable links to your files) 6 vcard links (digital, dynamic contact cards that you can track and download), 6 event links (Generate dynamic, trackable, and downloadable calendar files), and 6 QR codes.

Additionally, you can create 3 projects, use 3 pixels, and have access to 1 custom domain. Your statistics will be retained for 6 days.

Everlink also allows you to experiment with a design using custom backgrounds, colors, and fonts. They also offer the option to use a leap link, which allows you to temporarily redirect a biolink page to a specific url, which could be useful when you’re having a promotional sale.

Below are some examples of what your Everlinks page could look like.

As you can see, Everlinks makes your page easy to design with the ability to add avatars, multiple links, dividers, and blocks to add dimension to your page.

You are also given analytics, as seen below.

This allows you to see the location of where your clicks are coming from, which devices, total page views, and total visitors.

You can only see up to the past week though, and for more advanced analytics, you will need to subscribe to a premium plan.

The premium plan is $17 USD a month, and there are no additional tiers, unlike Linktree’s three different pricing options.

The premium plan allows you to remove ads and branding from your custom page, as well as add password protection and sensitive content warnings. You can customize the meta tags with SEO features, add to the javascript if you know how to code, and use link scheduling and posting tools to optimize when you are posting content.

The more advanced tools for premium members are for those familiar with coding, website design, and more in-depth analytics, so if you are still starting out in the influencer field and are not experienced with this, you may not feel the need to upgrade to the premium plan.

Both companies have strong suits, it just depends on what you are looking for. For a more straightforward landing page that has the brand name you have heard a thousand times before, Linktre.e may be your best option. However, if you want to work with a smaller company and know you will need to redirect links, Everlinks may be the right choice for you.
