Shop Like A Star: Marshalls Unveils Influencer-Curated Fashion Capsule

Marshalls, the off-price retailer owned by TJX Cos., has launched its inaugural “Marshalls Good Stuff Style Collective” featuring celebrity stylists Zerina Akers, Enrique Melendez, and Molly Dickson, the company announced

The trio curates Marshalls’ spring/summer 2024 trend report, “The Edit by Marshalls,” and helps buyers select pieces for “The Edit Shop,” a dedicated online storefront showcasing seasonal fashion and beauty trends.

Building on the brand’s “The Designer Shop” and “Made in Italy,” the Edit Shop is a simplified shopping tool that helps shoppers find seasonally trending fashion and beauty items. The Style Collective members will appear on the retailer’s Instagram and TikTok accounts, continuing Marshalls’ influencer marketing approach following a partnership with actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas in 2023.

“We are always looking to give our consumers access to what they want when they need it most,” Sonya Cosentini, Marshalls’ VP of Brand Marketing, said in the announcement, citing the influencers’ “invaluable styling advice” for customers.

Melendez recalls shopping at Marshalls growing up to access premium brands his family could not otherwise afford. Dickson sheds light on finding luxury items at Marshalls’ during her fashion assistant days in New York. Akers highlights how the brand democratizes fashion: “It’s shifting into a way where it’s really in the hands of the consumer now.”

With over 1,100 locations across 48 U.S. states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico, TJX Cos. is headquartered in Framingham, Massachusetts. The off-price model allows Marshalls to offer brand-name merchandise at discounted prices.
