BRUNO Exchange: One-Stop Shop For Social Media Posts And NIL Marketplace For Student-Athletes 

Brown University’s Division of Athletics and Recreation, in collaboration with Teamworks Influencer, has announced the launch of the BRUNO Exchange, a platform designed to empower Brown University student-athletes to leverage their name, image, and likeness (NIL) for financial gain.

The BRUNO Exchange is a student-athlete NIL business registry specifically tailored to connect businesses, donors, alumni, and other interested parties with Brown student-athletes seeking lucrative opportunities. 

It operates within a safe and compliant environment, providing invaluable education on the evolving NIL landscape to student-athletes, coaches, and staff. Moreover, it offers a content delivery system that enables student-athletes to access and share engaging content on their social media platforms.

Brown University’s partner, Teamworks Influencer, has brought its expertise to the partnership, having established itself in athlete brand-building and NIL business management and serving over 270 elite collegiate and professional sports organizations. 

M. Grace Calhoun, Chancellor Samuel M. Mencoff ‘78 Vice President for Athletics and Recreation at Brown, expressed her enthusiasm about the expanded collaboration, stating, “We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Teamworks by incorporating Influencer and the BRUNO Exchange as a valuable resource for all our student-athletes.” 

By utilizing the platform, Brown Athletics aims to create a comprehensive hub where student-athletes can effortlessly access a wide range of services.

“This revolutionary platform provides an unparalleled marketplace for businesses and individuals to connect with our talented Bears, fostering countless NIL opportunities and offering a centralized location for creative content,” Calhoun said in the announcement.

Teamworks Influencer General Manager Sean Kelly echoed Calhoun’s excitement, emphasizing the fee-free NIL marketplace provided by the BRUNO Exchange. “The launch of the BRUNO Exchange will unlock a multitude of opportunities for Brown student-athletes, enabling them to monetize their personal brand and pursue NIL deals on a grand scale,” Kelly stated in the announcement.
