Pocket.watch Launches AI Initiatives To Help Creators Monetize Content Licensing

Pocket.watch, the kids and family media company behind franchises such as “Ryan’s World” and “Love, Diana,” is launching two AI initiatives aimed at creating new revenue streams for its creator network, per Deadline

The company has partnered with Troveo, a platform for ethical AI training content. Through this partnership, creators in pocket.watch’s network can opt in to license their content to AI companies under pre-negotiated terms. Troveo collects, organizes, and delivers this content to trusted AI firms, allowing creators to monetize their libraries while maintaining ownership rights.

Simultaneously, pocket.watch is introducing Channelyzer AI, a tool that analyzes creators’ YouTube libraries to optimize content for premium streaming platforms and franchise development. The system assesses thousands of content hours to identify engaged topics, play patterns, and recurring themes.

Channelyzer AI generates reports that include popularity scores, distribution readiness ratings, time-coded compliance flags, and thematic content groupings. These insights inform consumer product expansion, mobile gaming development, and broader franchise strategies.

“YouTube has always been the most democratic platform, and pocket.watch was ahead of the curve in recognizing the power of its creators,” Chris M. Williams, founder and CEO of pocket.watch, said in a statement. “And now AI represents the next frontier in the creator landscape, opening an array of new opportunities for greater efficiency, creativity, and revenue.”

Growing Creator Network

These initiatives support pocket.watch’s expanding creator portfolio, which now includes 59 creators representing 1.3 billion subscribers and more than 955 billion lifetime views. The company continues to distribute creator content across 43 platforms in 81 countries, including Hulu, Peacock, and Amazon Kids+.

The AI developments build on pocket.watch’s previous technology investments, including Clock.Wise, a tool for contextual ad targeting on YouTube Kids. Since its launch, campaigns utilizing this technology have experienced a 3% increase in video completion rates and a 22% increase in click-through rates compared to traditional targeting methods.
