Creator Economy Event Calendar – May 27, 2026 – SXSW London, TwitchCon Europe, Hollywood Creator Summit, and More

The final days of May and the first week of June 2026 bring a concentrated run of Creator Economy, live streaming, digital marketing, and entertainment technology events across North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom. Programming spans vertical video monetization, AI-resistant creator business models, Web3 and digital art, and the convergence of Hollywood with the Creator Economy. Professional audiences include brand marketers, independent content creators, streaming communities, entertainment industry operators, and Web3 practitioners.

SocialWest 2026

SocialWest, described as Canada’s largest marketing conference, holds its three-day program at the TELUS Convention Centre in Calgary. May 27 opens with a pre-conference Advanced Marketing Masterclass and an evening Opening Bash marking the conference’s 10th anniversary. Conference programming runs May 28-29 across sessions covering content marketing, video, email and SMS marketing, marketing technology, AI in marketing, influencer marketing, digital brand strategy, social media, and marketing data and analytics. More than 50 speakers are confirmed, including Lauren Freund, Campaign Manager at Canva; Blake Smith, Director and Head of Mid Market Sales at Reddit; Nihal Mandanna, Director of Growth at Cyberimpact; Dan Mangan, musician and songwriter; and Anniston Ward, USA PR and Education Manager at Metricool, among others. The event targets 800-plus marketing professionals. The pre-conference masterclass is priced at $99 per person.

The Hollywood Creator Summit

The Hollywood Creator Summit, produced by The Publish Press, gathers 500 creators, team members, and industry leaders for a single-track, one-day program examining the convergence of the Creator Economy and the entertainment industry. Programming includes speakers, small hands-on workshops, and a live recording of The Colin and Samir Show with audience Q&A. Confirmed speakers include Colin and Samir, Johnny Harris, Iz Harris, Kinigra Deon, Alessandra Catanese, Scott Lewers, and Michelle Khare, with additional speakers to be announced. The event is hosted at the Fox Studio Lot in Los Angeles. Admission is by application.

TwitchCon Europe 2026

TwitchCon Europe takes place at Rotterdam Ahoy over two days, bringing together streamers, viewers, and gaming and creator communities. Programming includes the Glitch Theatre stage, Creator Camp sessions and workshops, Community MeetUps, Twitch Rivals Arena, Artist Alley, and Meet and Greets. A Minecraft activation runs across the weekend. The Ascension PUBG: Battlegrounds tournament features a €100,000 prize pool in a Grand Finale held live at the event; wildcard registration opens May 2 and closes May 23, and participation is limited to TwitchCon Europe attendees. Ticket prices are €85 for a single-day pass and €135 for a two-day pass, both inclusive of 21% VAT. The event is open to all attendees, not only active streamers.

SXSW London 2026

South by Southwest (SXSW) London returns for a six-day festival with venues clustered around the Truman Brewery in East London. The 2026 edition integrates conference, music, screen, and visual arts programming into a single program, introduces extended panel formats with Q&A, and adds curated networking events and a Platinum Lounge. Confirmed conference speakers include Ant and Dec, co-founders of Mitre Studios; Chelsea Clinton, Vice Chair of the Clinton Foundation; Anthony and Joe Russo, co-founders and partners at AGBO; Esther Perel, psychotherapist and New York Times bestselling author; Hasan Piker, streamer and creator at Night; Markiplier, YouTuber, filmmaker, and board vice president of Real Good AI; and Julia Goldin, Chief Product and Marketing Officer at LEGO. Conference themes include Society Rewired, AI as the New Power Structure, and Creativity in the Algorithmic Age. The festival lists more than 800 speakers, 200 music artists, 100 screenings, and 700-plus companies attending from more than 50 countries. Pass options range from a Day Pass at £330 to a Platinum Pass at £1,560, all prices inclusive of VAT. Early pricing discounts were available until May 18, 2026.

Vertical Media Summit

The Vertical Media Summit, produced by Owl & Co., is a half-day ticketed event at the W Hollywood examining the business of vertical video as an entertainment category. The program runs 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and includes a welcome lunch, opening keynote, four panels, one fireside chat, and a cocktail hour. Topics cover vertical video business models including in-app purchases, subscriptions, and advertising; microdrama; vertical news and sports; comedy, animation, games, and reality formats; global markets and the China playbook; AI and production efficiency; fundraising and exits; and single-purpose versus super-app strategies. Confirmed speakers include Juanjo Duran, Global Head of Media and Entertainment Content Partnerships at Google; Fede Goldenberg, Global Head of TV and Film Partnerships at YouTube; Joey Jia, Founder and CEO of Crazy Maple Studio and ReelShort; Dawn Yang, Global Head of Entertainment Partnerships and Business Development at TikTok; Montrel McKay, President of Development and Production at Hoorae Productions; Fernando Szew, President and Head of Studio at Fox Entertainment; and James Lindsay, Managing Director and Co-Head of Growth Advisory at LionTree, among others. NFC Summit 2026

The NFC Summit returns to Lisbon for a three-day program at Unicorn Factory Lisbon, bringing together participants across Web3, digital art, AI, and the creative economy. The program encompasses eight concurrent sub-events: the Non Fungible Conference, centered on digital and blockchain-based art with exhibitions, installations, and immersive experiences; Stablecoin Day; ACAI Days, a school of art, culture, and AI offering a program for young creators on June 4 and a two-day masterclass on June 5-6; Longevity Day, focused on human lifespan and wellbeing research; Kawaii Summit, which explores Japanese collectible culture including trading cards and art toys; an Agents vs. Agents Hackathon; The Tonight Show Starring Benny Redbeard; and Predictive Market Insider. The Future-Proof Creator Summit

The Future-Proof Creator Summit is a three-day event at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel in Richmond, British Columbia, targeting content creators, freelance writers, solopreneurs, developers, designers, and consultants building AI-resistant business models. The program is structured across Foundation Friday (June 5), Systems Saturday (June 6), and Legacy Sunday (June 7), covering audience ownership, income diversification, personal branding, and long-term business systems. Headline speakers are Dan Koe, Kieran Drew, and Taylin Simmonds, joined by 12 additional speakers including Brian Maierhofer, Dan Goldfield, and Hussain Ibarra. VIP attendees join a curated networking dinner with speakers on June 6. The event concludes with a 90-day execution planning session. The summit is produced by Jesse James Carver and is its inaugural edition.
