Indian Social Discovery App Entices Gen Z Influencers To Create College Life Content Through Brand Ambassador Project

Indian-based social discovery app Hunch has unveiled a Brand Ambassador program targeting college students in an effort to connect with Gen Z digital content creators. The initiative aims to boost awareness and engagement among this demographic through user-generated content focused on campus life.

As Hunch Campus Ambassadors, participants will demonstrate their social media and influencer marketing skills by completing various creative tasks focused on college life on a weekly basis. These tasks include creating college-related polls, sharing content on social media, and promoting Hunch’s official accounts.

The program provides ambassadors with an official experience certificate that enhances their resumes and future employment prospects in marketing roles. The top 10% of ambassadors, determined by a program leaderboard based on engagement metrics – task compliance, poll interactions, and app downloads – will have the opportunity for paid internships or potential job placements at Hunch.

Top performers will also receive exclusive mentorship workshops on marketing and brand-building from industry experts and senior Hunch leadership. All participants are eligible to win Hunch merchandise and gain recognition as influencers among their Gen Z peers.

The Brand Ambassador program is designed as a weekly cycle of activities, allowing college students to apply their creativity in real-world scenarios while making their college experiences more engaging. Ambassadors must log their work in a Google form by Sunday midnight each week, with Hunch publishing a leaderboard of top performers by Tuesday.

Students from any college can apply for the program by filling out a form available on Hunch’s Instagram bio link. The selection criteria include college brand value, participation in extracurricular activities, social media following, and understanding of branding and influencer marketing activities. Shortlisted applicants will undergo a 20-minute video interview.

Hunch invites creative and socially active college students who can balance the part-time program alongside their academic commitments to enroll in what it describes as an exciting and rewarding marketing journey. Program slots open every month, allowing more students to participate over time in line with the company’s expansion plans across college campuses.
