Role Description The YouTube Channel Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos State, Nigeria. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day management of multiple YouTube channels, including planning and scheduling uploads, optimizing titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and playlists, and ensuring consistent branding and compliance with platform guidelines. The YouTube Channel Manager will monitor analytics and audience insights to improve watch time, engagement, and subscriber growth, and collaborate closely with content creators, editors, marketing, and production teams to align channel strategy with company goals. The role also includes managing viewer interactions through comments and community posts, coordinating promotional campaigns across MBI platforms, and identifying opportunities for monetization and partnership growth. The successful candidate will maintain a structured workflow, respond promptly to performance trends, and support continuous improvement of channel content and operations.

Qualifications
- Strong experience with YouTube channel management, including content scheduling, metadata optimization, thumbnails, playlists, and community engagement.
- Channel Sales and Channel Partners skills, with the ability to manage relationships that support audience growth and monetization.
- Sales and Sales Management skills to drive revenue opportunities, implement promotional campaigns, and support commercial objectives.
- Customer Service skills to interact professionally with viewers, creators, and partners, and to manage feedback and inquiries.
- Proficiency in YouTube Studio, analytics tools, and understanding of YouTube SEO, copyright, and content policies.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple channels and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced media environment.
- Previous experience in digital media, entertainment, or content management; familiarity with African media and audiences is an advantage.
- A relevant diploma or degree in Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
