VP Community Engagement - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a VP Community Engagement to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This leader will shape the strategy for community engagement and investment, ensuring priorities are aligned with broader organizational impact goals. The role will partner closely with executive, civic, and community stakeholders to translate community needs into scalable, measurable initiatives. Success in this position will come from building trusted relationships, establishing strong governance, and using community insights to inform enterprise decisions and reporting.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $200,400 – $343,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Set the vision and strategic priorities for community development aligned with organizational impact
• Define community prioritization strategies for engagement and investment
• Build executive-level relationships with civic and community leaders
• Translate community priorities into scalable, measurable strategies
• Establish governance and operating models for community engagement
• Shape investment strategies that align enterprise capabilities with community needs
• Ensure community insights inform enterprise reporting and investment decisions
  
  

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise strategy and team management
• 10+ years of experience in complex, matrixed environments, preferably in healthcare or social impact
• 10+ years of experience building and sustaining executive-level relationships
• 10+ years of experience in developing strategic business cases and impact initiatives
• Proven ability to influence individuals and groups outside of direct reporting relationships
