Videographer & Content Creator
Videographer & Content Creator
Gtechniq | Northamptonshire | Full-time | Office based
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000
About the role
Gtechniq develops surface protection and maintenance products for the automotive, marine and bike markets. We’re looking for a creative, hands-on Videographer & Content Creator to bring our products, technology and brand to life.
Video and photography will be the main focus. You’ll take content from initial idea through to filming, editing and delivery, producing everything from product demonstrations and application guides to launch films and short social videos.
Alongside content creation, you’ll use your graphic design skills to produce digital and printed marketing materials. We want someone who can create work that looks professional, captures attention and helps customers understand our products.
What you’ll be doing
- Planning, filming and editing video for social media, websites, ecommerce, digital advertising, product launches and training.
- Creating short-form content for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, alongside more detailed educational and product videos.
- Capturing high-quality product photography, including white-background images, application photography and lifestyle content.
- Working with our marketing and technical teams to explain product benefits and turn technical information into clear, engaging videos, graphics and educational materials.
- Filming with colleagues, accredited detailers, customers and partners, helping people feel comfortable and confident on camera.
- Working alongside our detailing team to capture customer vehicles, special projects, product applications and training.
- Creating digital and printed artwork for launches, campaigns and everyday marketing, including website and Amazon graphics, brochures, point-of-sale materials, presentations and sales tools.
- Designing packaging and labels within our brand guidelines, using approved product and technical information.
- Developing adaptable creative assets and templates for our internal teams, distributors and retail partners.
- Bringing fresh ideas to the team and managing production from brief to finished asset.
- Adapting content for different channels, formats and international markets.
- Maintaining a well-organised library of footage, photography and finished creative for our teams and distribution partners.
What we’re looking for
- A strong portfolio showing your filming and editing skills, particularly work created for brands, products or social media.
- Confidence running a shoot independently, including camera setup, lighting and sound.
- Proficiency in professional video editing software.
- A good understanding of storytelling, pacing, sound and colour, with close attention to detail.
- Photography and image editing skills, ideally with experience shooting products.
- Graphic design skills, with experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to produce digital and print-ready artwork.
- The ability to produce both polished campaign content and straightforward, effective everyday videos.
- An interest in understanding how products work and communicating why their benefits matter to customers.
- Good organisation and the ability to manage several projects, agree priorities and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, collaborative approach, with confidence contributing ideas and taking work through to completion.
- Willingness to travel for location shoots, customer visits and events when required.
Useful additional experience
- Motion graphics and animation, particularly using After Effects.
- Creating content for paid social, Amazon or other ecommerce channels.
- Packaging and label design.
- Working with technical products or international marketing teams.
- An interest in automotive detailing, marine, cycling or product technology.
Previous industry experience is not essential, but curiosity and a willingness to learn are.
What you can expect
You’ll work closely with our marketing and technical teams, with access to interesting vehicles, products, projects and partners. Your content will be used across our own channels and by our international distribution network.
There will be room to contribute ideas, develop your skills and take greater ownership of content production as you build your understanding of the business.
