TikTok Social Programming, Bleacher Report (Temporary)

The Social Programmer II will be responsible for helping set the look and feel of Bleacher Report's TikTok channel while helping lead production and distribution. Warner Bros. Discovery is looking for a sports fanatic and culture junkie with strong video editing skills who knows how to find and distribute engaging sports content in a fast-paced, cross-platform, collaborative environment.

Role Accountabilities

• Publishing identified content immediately to social accounts (primarily TikTok) run independently.
• Editing content to optimize performance on TikTok.
• Setting the tone, look, and feel of Bleacher Report's TikTok channel.
• News and social media monitoring to identify what is trending in sports and relevant pop culture.
• Timely and clean stylized hook writing in line with the social voice of the accounts.
• Swift editorial response and decision-making, often without supervisor oversight.
• Cover sports events and live shows as they're happening (weekends and nights).

Qualifications and Experience

• Deep knowledge of TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts style editing and curation.
• Experience growing following and engagement on TikTok; lives and breathes TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube/Shorts.
• Passionate sports fan, well versed in multiple sports with an emphasis on NBA and NFL.
• 1 to 2 years of professional experience preferred.
• Keen awareness of Bleacher Report's voice and how it reacts to breaking news across platforms.
• Understanding of trends, memes, viral content, and popular culture.
• Bonus skills: Adobe Premiere Pro, Facebook Creator Studio, Clipper.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Strong video editing, copywriting, and communication skills; a keen eye for punctuation and grammar.
• Content recognition (highlights, UGC) and highlight-editing experience is a major plus.

Pay range for this role is $43,680 to $81,120 per year, in compliance with local pay transparency law; actual pay depends on market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and performance. Warner Bros. Discovery is an equal opportunity employer.
