About our client

Our client, an early-stage technology and life sciences focused venture capital fund, is currently looking to hire a Talent Manager to support its portfolio company founders in building high performing leadership teams along with providing access to an international network of exceptional operators and advisors. The firm, which is currently in growth mode, has plenty of capital available and unique access to some of the most innovative technology companies in the country. The firm holds talent and human capital in high regard, allowing plenty of autonomy, ownership, and growth within the role.

What the job involves

Within the role, you will work as part of the funds high performing talent team, focusing on pre-portfolio talent strategy, ecosystem development, diligence support, and founder engagement, helping to ensure the fund builds the strongest possible community of leaders across its pipeline and portfolio. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Talent network and community development
• Founder engagement and spinout readiness
• Talent support and diligence for investment
• Ecosystem partnerships
• Continuous improvement and though leadership
  
  

Who we are looking for

• C-suite, Chair, Non-Exec recruitment and advisory experience
• Experience gained either in executive search or in another PE / VC fund
• A proven strong understanding of early-stage and spin-out leadership needs
• Proven ability to build networks and trusted relationships with senior level candidates
• Experience in assessment would be advantageous
