Apply at Perspectum Ltd
Are you an experienced talent professional who wants to shape how a growing health technology company hires, develops and retains its people? We are looking for a Talent Manager to join our HR team in Oxford, reporting to the HR Director.

Perspectum is a precision health company. Our non-invasive, quantitative MRI technology supports clinical decision-making and drug development, and our teams work across the UK, Europe, the US and Asia. Our Oxford headquarters brings together research and development, commercial, leadership, service and support teams, alongside a Community Diagnostics Centre run in partnership with the NHS.

About The Role

This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who knows what good looks like in both investor-backed growth businesses and larger organisations, and who can judge the right level of process for a company at our stage.

  • Lead recruitment through line management of our in-house Talent Acquisition specialist, and build the framework that supports every employee from offer to career progression.
  • Design our onboarding, performance management cycle, career pathing and progression frameworks, so every employee can see how they can grow with us.
  • Own the annual learning plan and budget, and develop leadership and management programmes, including core training for new and experienced line managers.
  • Set our global talent acquisition strategy and grow our employer brand and EVP across our website, LinkedIn, Glassdoor and social media, reaching a diverse talent pool that includes academics.
  • Lead engagement surveys, action planning and retention analysis, support talent reviews and succession planning, and use data to make hiring decisions better and faster.
  • Make sure our recruitment and talent processes meet UK employment law, right to work, equality and UK GDPR requirements, local rules wherever we hire, and our quality management system.

About You

  • At least five years' relevant experience spanning recruitment and talent management or learning and development.
  • Hands-on experience designing and delivering learning and development, including management or leadership training.
  • Experience line managing a recruiter or leading a small team.
  • Experience delivering programmes to remote or non-UK teams and individuals.
  • Working knowledge of UK employment law, right to work checks and data protection as they apply to recruitment and people processes.
  • A track record of using data to measure and improve hiring and talent outcomes.
  • The confidence to advise and, where needed, challenge senior hiring managers and leaders.
  • A pragmatic approach: you aim high, don't let perfect become the enemy of good, and are comfortable working at pace with ambiguity and shifting priorities.

It would be great if you also bring:

  • Recruitment experience in both agency and in-house settings.
  • Experience in venture capital or private equity backed businesses as well as larger corporate organisations.
  • Experience in life sciences, medical technology, healthtech or another regulated, technical environment.
  • CIPD or an equivalent professional qualification in HR or learning and development.
  • Experience selecting or implementing an applicant tracking, HR or learning management system.

About Us

At Perspectum, your work will directly shape the teams behind technology used by clinicians and drug developers. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. If you are ready to build how a growing company attracts, develops and retains its people, we would love to hear from you.
