Talent Coordinator (Agent Track) — Vertical Talent Group

New York City · Full-Time · In-Person, Midtown Office

About Vertical

Vertical Talent Group represents leading digital creators in food and pets. We help build their businesses through brand partnerships, strategic relationships, and long-term career development.

We’re growing quickly and hiring our next cohort of coordinators to develop into agents. You’ll work directly with our team on active partnerships, learn the business of representation, and build relationships of your own.

The opportunity

Our business is built on relationships. We invest time in getting to know the people buying creator partnerships: brand marketers, agency teams, and decision-makers across our categories. Coffee meetings, introductory calls, and consistent follow-through are central to how we create opportunities for our talent.

You’ll learn how to build that network, understand what buyers need, and turn those relationships into business for creators.

The path to becoming an agent starts with mastering coordination: clear communication, organized campaigns, sound judgment, and reliable execution. As you demonstrate those skills, you’ll take on more responsibility across relationships, negotiations, and talent representation, with the goal of managing your own book of business.

What you’ll do

  • Support agents in managing creator relationships and brand partnerships, from initial inquiry through execution and payment.
  • Keep campaigns moving: track deadlines, communicate next steps, and follow up before someone needs to ask.
  • Research brands, agencies, and the people making partnership decisions.
  • Help initiate outreach, arrange introductory calls and coffee meetings, and build lasting buyer relationships.
  • Join partner conversations, learn their priorities, and identify opportunities across our roster.
  • Scout creators in food and pets and help evaluate their potential.
  • Attend relevant meetings, shoots, and industry events.
  • Help improve the systems and processes supporting our growth.

Who you are

  • You communicate clearly. You write concise emails, ask thoughtful questions, and make it easy for others to understand what needs to happen next. You know when to pick up the phone.
  • You enjoy building relationships. You’re curious about people and their work. You’re comfortable introducing yourself, starting conversations, and staying in touch with purpose.
  • You follow through. You keep track of details, close loops, and flag problems early. People can trust you to do what you say you’ll do.
  • You take initiative and want to learn. You seek feedback, apply it, and take increasing ownership as your judgment develops.
  • You care about the category. You follow food or pet creators and have opinions about what makes their content compelling and their partnerships effective.

Experience in talent representation, agencies, brand partnerships, sales, or client service is helpful, but not required.

Compensation and growth

  • $60,000–$75,000 base salary, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
  • Annual bonus.
  • Healthcare coverage.
  • A path into talent representation, with opportunities for commission participation as responsibilities grow.
