Social Media Programmer & Creator - Collectibles
Social Media Programmer & Creator - Collectibles
Remote (US or Canada) · Full-time
About the Role
We are looking for an energetic, creative, and community-driven content creator to become the primary voice and face of the world of collectibles - Pokémon, sports cards, Magic the Gathering, NBA/NFL memorabilia, pack rips, grading reveals, and plus all sorts of other epic loot.
The online entertainment such as collectibles and card-breaking hobby is louder than it has ever been, but much of the online content remains repetitive. We are hiring one dedicated creator to own our main social channels and break that pattern. You will spend your days opening packs, hosting live digital breaks, creating multi-daily short-form video content across platforms, and building an engaged community of hobby enthusiasts.
The core challenge is finding fresh, entertaining storytelling angles that make content irresistible.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and edit content into multiple daily posts for TikTok, Instagram, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
- Invent original content formats, recurring bits, series, and community challenges that drive repeat viewership.
- Discuss cards and collectibles with authority, covering new releases, market trends, undervalued items, and chase cards.
- Turn major hits and notable misses into quick-turnaround social clips immediately following streams.
- Write authentic, collector-focused captions and copy that resonate naturally with the hobby community.
- Collaborate with featured creators, influencers, and partner talent on co-branded formats and live drop events.
- Transform site promotions, product drops, and platform features into engaging content viewers choose to watch.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 0–3 years under your belt in social media, digital content, or video editing. Got a passion project or personal channel with epic clips? That totally counts!
- Hobby Knowledge: You speak fluent collector language. You know set lists, release tiers, case hits, card grading, and market values inside and out.
- Video Editing: A wizard at quick-turnaround short-form video editing using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or After Effects.
- Creativity: An endless fountain of fresh ideas, hot takes, and viral-worthy content series ready to pitch and bring to life every single week.
- Autonomy: A self-starter who can shoot, edit, and publish awesome videos without needing someone looking over your shoulder.
- Eligibility: Must be 21+ and totally comfortable creating content around sports betting and gaming vibes.
- Location: Based in the US or Canada with full authorization to work.
Why You'll Love This Role
- Full Channel Ownership: Direct ownership of the primary brand channel tone, style, and content strategy.
- Audience Expansion: Ability to grow a significant personal following while creating content around trading cards and collectibles full-time.
- Creative Autonomy: Fast-track execution without lengthy approval chains or corporate oversight.
- High-Level Collaborations: Lead collaborative sessions with top influencers and figures across the sports entertainment space.
Position Details
- Location: Remote (US or Canada) with minimal travel requirements.
- Reporting: Reports directly to the Head of Social.
How to Apply
Please submit your resume, links to social channels or video portfolios, direct links to TikTok and/or Instagram video content you’ve created (pack openings, card content, reactions, edits — personal or school projects are fine) and samples of recent content.
