Social Media Manager, New Media & Trends

Overview:

We're looking for a Social Media Manager who lives at the intersection of culture, platform trends, and emerging technology. You'll own our always-on social presence, spot what's next before it's mainstream, and use AI tools to move faster and smarter than the competition.

Responsibilities:

• Own day-to-day strategy and execution across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms
• Identify and act on cultural/social trends in real time; build a rapid-response content process
• Use AI tools (generative content, trend forecasting, analytics/insight tools) to scale ideation and production
• Partner with creative, brand, and influencer teams to translate campaigns into native social formats
• Identify new platform partnership opportunities beyond core social channels — Reddit, Substack, LinkedIn, and other emerging community/media platforms — to expand brand presence where culture is forming
• Develop and manage content calendars, community management, and platform-specific KPIs
• Track emerging platforms and features (new apps, algorithm shifts, format changes) and advise leadership on where to invest
• Report on performance with a point of view — not just metrics, but what they mean for strategy
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5-6+ years in social media, with a portfolio of trend-driven, culturally fluent work
• Deep fluency in current platform mechanics (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts) and where social is heading
• Hands-on experience with AI tools for content creation, ideation, or social listening
• Strong editorial instincts — can spot a trend early and know when/how to participate authentically
• Excellent collaborator across creative, brand, and PR teams
• Comfortable working fast, testing often, and adapting in real time
• Experience in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands preferred
• Basic content creation/editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, etc.) ideal
• Community-building or creator-partnership experience a plus
  
  

The base salary range for this role is between $90,000 and $100,000. The relevant base salary will vary depending on wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications. The base salary is just one component of our total compensation offerings, which consist of a comprehensive benefits package as well as a short-term incentive program, clothing allowance, and merchandise discounts
