ABOUT US

The Vancouver Aesthetician (TVA) specializes in high-performance skin and hair management for professionals with active lifestyles. Our layered treatment systems are built on thousands of client cases and focus on real, measurable skin progress.

THE OBJECTIVE

We’re building something big, and we want you to help shape it. Our goal is to make TVA more than a place people book appointments. We want it to be a community Vancouver knows by name, the kind people are proud to belong to and talk about. This role will help us build that through capturing TVA moments: Events, run clubs, workshops, street interviews, and a real presence in the city, all shared with the world.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

If a community manager and a content creator had a child, this would be it. We’re looking for someone who gets our brand on a gut level, down to every little detail, and knows how to amplify it across Instagram and YouTube. You’ll own the whole picture. From strategy, shooting, and editing to posting and nurturing the community that grows around it.

This is a thinking job first and a shooting job second. Every post has a reason behind it: you plan who it’s for and what it’s meant to do, and you can explain every creative decision. You’re structured and work well with deadlines. After every round, you’ll dig into the numbers, form theories about why something worked or didn’t, and test new ideas to find out. Each cycle should make the next one sharper.

We want our content to show the whole team behind the brand, not just the owners, so you’ll help bring everyone on camera, sometimes including yourself and clients.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop content strategy directly tied to our quantified goals, and breakdown into short briefs that lay out the production calendar.
  • Formulate intentional scripts and design shots where every scene has a job, and be able to explain why it’s there
  • Plan and deliver around 5 pieces of content every day (2-3 posts/reels/carousels and 2–3 Stories) and one long form (5-15 minute) YouTube content bi-weekly.
  • Maintain an organized production: calendar, idea backlog, shot lists, and asset library on the platforms we use (ClickUp, Google Drive, Later)
  • Bring a steady flow of new ideas and track performance after each round of content, work out what the numbers are telling you
  • Own the publishing schedule and brand voice
  • Appear on camera, or help teammates feel comfortable on camera
  • Edit high-retention, ultra-polished Reels (CapCut, Premiere, or similar)
  • Design absolutely stunning, on-brand covers, carousels, and posters (Higgsfield, Canva, Photoshop or similar)
  • Reply to comments and DMs in our voice, and turn casual followers into loyal fans

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 1–3 years of successfully managing social accounts, building a community, or growing your own channel
  • Marketing funnel awareness: You understand the difference between attracting new audiences, re-engaging inactive followers, or converting warm leads
  • You understand there is wide range of skincare literacy in the market and know how to speak to both ends of the spectrum.
  • You’re comfortable in Instagram and YouTube analytics, curious about what the numbers mean, and treat every post as a chance to learn something
  • You have an eye for premium, luxury quality.
  • Follow educational accounts similar to @PersonalBrandLaunch , @jun_yuh, @iamchrischung to stay on top of your game.
  • Self-motivation: you can take a rough idea and turn it into a finished post on your own, hit deadlines without reminders
  • Based in Greater Vancouver and available for on-site shoots and events

VERY NICE TO HAVE

  • You are into fitness and live an active lifestyle, whether that’s tennis, cycling, or time outdoors, and you understand the people we serve.
  • You know the wellness and longevity space: recovery habits like sauna and cold plunge, supplements like creatine, sleep, and nutrition
  • You have an interest in skincare or skin science, or you’re keen to learn it quickly
  • You can turn technical information into clear, bitesize storytelling.
  • You have experience creating content for a health, wellness, fitness, or beauty brand

WHAT WE OFFER

  • $60,000 – $75,000 per annum
  • Health & Dental Benefits
  • CPP & EI contributions
  • Free gym, sauna access and monthly facials
  • 2 weeks of paid vacation plus statutory holidays
