Social Media Manager
Location: On-site, Las Vegas, NV (our HQ: this is a front-of-house, in-office role)
Type: Full-time
Experience: 2+ years managing organic social for a brand or creator
Blez Online is a 24/7 digital trading card repack platform built by the Bleznick brothers, the breakers behind TheBlez, one of the longest-running live breaking operations in the hobby. We just launched our mobile app and we're growing fast across sports cards, Pokémon, One Piece, and collectibles. This is a hobby-first company: we're breakers and collectors before we're a tech platform, and our social should feel like it.
We're across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X, and right now that work is split across a handful of people doing it between other jobs. We need one person to own it. You'll run all of our organic channels end to end: what goes out, when, and in what voice. You'll be the person who turns our live breaks, big pulls, pack-maker footage, and founder moments into a steady, high-quality feed, and the person our community talks to in the DMs.
You sit in our Las Vegas office, phone camera-ready and plugged into the day-to-day: the pack makers building packs, customer hits landing, and occasional card show content (many of these based in Vegas). A lot of our best content is happening around you in real time: your job is to catch it and get it out.
You won't be doing it alone. We have an in-house producer/camera operator/designer you'll collaborate with on bigger productions and polished assets. But day to day, you should be just as comfortable pulling out your own phone to shoot and post a Story on the spot, and comfortable in front of the camera as well as behind it.
- All organic channels: Instagram (Reels, Stories, Grid), TikTok, YouTube for Blez Online (long + Shorts), and X. Plan, create, schedule, publish, and report.
- The content calendar + scheduling tool. Own our scheduler (e.g. Buffer) and keep a real calendar so posts are planned ahead. Align social with our promo calendar and drop schedule.
- DMs: routing and responding. Be the front door. Answer the community, and route what you can't handle (support issues, buying questions, partnerships) to the right person, fast.
- Content creation. Shoot, edit, and produce short-form video and stills on-site including (but not limited to) pack-maker behind-the-scenes, hit reactions, drop announcements, founder content. You can make good content yourself, not just schedule other people's.
- UGC + creator activation. Build our "share your hits" and creator programs; helping us activate customers and creators to post, tag us, and make content, with proper disclosure and tracking. Grow a bench of UGC partners for the app.
- Grid vs. Stories discipline. Keep the Grid curated and high-quality (our storefront) and Stories fast and frequent (our live feed). Know the difference and enforce it.
- Reporting. Track what's working per channel and adjust: reach, engagement, and which content actually drives app downloads and sales.
- You're legit into the space. Sports cards, Pokémon, TCG, and/or collectibles. You know what a chase card is, you understand why a grail pull matters, and our audience can tell you're one of them.
- 2+ years running organic social for a brand, team, or creator across multiple platforms.
- Hands-on content skills: you can shoot and edit short-form video (Reels/TikTok/Shorts) and make clean stills on your own phone, and collaborate with our in-house producer/designer on bigger productions. Comfortable both on camera and behind it.
- Organized. You keep a calendar, hit post dates, and don't let things fall through the cracks. This role exists to bring order.
- Creative. Strong instinct for hooks, trends, and what makes people stop scrolling.
- Local to Las Vegas and able to work on-site — this is a front-of-house, in-office role, not remote.
- Fast and reliable in the DMs / comments: good judgment on what to answer and what to route.
- Experience with a scheduling tool (Buffer, Later, Sprout, etc.)
- Existing presence or network in the hobby / breaking community
- Basic design (Canva or similar) for quick graphics and promo assets
- Familiarity with UGC/influencer programs
- Every organic channel has a real, planned calendar (expecting ad hoc posting of course, but weekly organization)
- DMs are answered and routed reliably during business hours
- Grid is curated and on-brand; Stories are consistent and daily
- A working "share your hits" / UGC loop is live and bringing in customer content
- We can point to social as a measurable driver of app downloads and sales
