Captivate is looking for a creative, reliable individual to join the team as a Social Media Intern, in charge of monitoring and helping to maintain multiple social media accounts. The intern is responsible for daily posting and engagement and works with the internal team on new strategies to grow social media value.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple social media accounts and platforms
• Ideate, produce, present, and schedule social media posts using tools such as Photoshop, Canva, and Sprout Social
• Brainstorm new social media campaigns and strategies to further brand presence and engagement
• Stay on top of monthly client social and content calendars
• Monitor post engagement and brand buzz and contribute to monthly reports, both paid and organic
• Find opportunities to increase social interaction and followers via new platform activations, including Reels
• Write and design creative posts to engage Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest followers

Qualifications

• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong editing skills
• Creative writer able to tailor messages for different target audiences
• Knowledge of social media platforms: Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, blogs
• Experience with Photoshop is preferred
