Social Media Intern Internship

Urban Chic Media is a DC-based boutique social media agency helping design-driven brands show up online with intention and style. It is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Intern for the fall, someone who lives on Instagram, has a great eye, and wants hands-on client work from day one.

What you will do

• Assist on VIP days (client events and shoots) and organize footage afterward
• Build and refresh grid and story templates
• Assist with content calendar mapping and scheduling
• Compile weekly trend reports and conduct content and industry research
• Support post idea generation and account performance reporting
• Support newsletter production

Qualifications

• Based in or near Washington, DC and currently enrolled in school
• Available 8 to 10 hours a week
• Comfortable with content calendars and scheduling tools, and comfortable on camera
• Strong grasp of the social media landscape

Hybrid, 1 to 2 days a week in person, about 10 to 12 hours a week, September to November 2026. Stipend of $2,450 total, with potential to extend. Apply by email with resume, creative work, a video of up to 60 seconds, and a favorite brand IG or TikTok account.
