We’re looking for a Social Media Content Specialist who can bring that story to life through dynamic, trend-forward short-form video and engaging social content that connects with our audience, elevates our online community, and drives organic growth across all our social platforms.

About The Role

Produce and manage engaging, trend-forward content that grows and nurtures Milan’s online community through organic social media channels. In this hands-on, creative role, you will capture, edit, and publish photos, short-form videos, and written captions that align with our brand voice and overall marketing strategy. You'll monitor and moderate our online communities, respond to audience interactions, and continuously adapt content based on performance data to maximize reach and engagement while collaborating closely across marketing teams.

What You'll Own

• Content Creation & Execution: Plan, capture, edit, and publish engaging photo and short-form video content across major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, YouTube). Write brand-aligned captions and maintain a consistent publishing schedule using social management tools.
• Trend Strategy & Recommendations: Track emerging social trends, platform updates, and audience preferences to propose creative opportunities that elevate brand reach and align with broader marketing campaigns.
• Content Performance & Optimization: Track and analyze organic performance metrics using analytics tools, leveraging data-driven insights to refine content strategy and sustain audience growth.
• Boosting Strategy & Execution: Manage and execute paid content boosting in Meta and TikTok Business Suites, delivering regular performance readouts to the marketing team.
• Onsite Production & On-Screen Presence: Participate in photo/video shoots at clinics and corporate headquarters, capturing event/behind-the-scenes footage and appearing as on-screen brand talent as needed.
• Community Management: Moderate private groups and social channels, fostering an inclusive environment, responding to interactions in the brand voice, and tracking overall community health.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in social media content creation, community management, or a related role.
• Proficiency in photo and video production, including hands-on shooting and editing for short-form video.
• Hands-on experience using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social).
• Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other major social networks.
• Strong writing skills for crafting engaging social captions and short-form content.
• Demonstrated awareness of social media trends, pop culture, current slang, and preferences relevant to Milan's target audience.
• Ability to travel to local/regional Milan clinic locations and our Omaha, NE headquarters for content shoots.
• Ability to appear in public-facing brand content.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to shifting priorities, and hit tight deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, media production, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) required.
  
  

What Sets You Apart

• Previous experience creating organic social media content within a corporate, agency, or multi-location retail/beauty environment.
• Advanced familiarity with executing and optimizing paid/boosted posts in Meta and TikTok Business Suite.
