Social Media Associate/Content Creator
Key Responsibilities:
\n• Create, edit, and publish video content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
\n• Design thumbnails and other visual assets using Canva
\n• Edit, retouch, and resize images for social media and digital use
\n• Write engaging captions that reflect YAGP’s voice and mission
\n• Help manage community engagement by monitoring comments, messages, tags, and mentions
\n• Develop creative ideas tailored to YAGP’s global audience
\n• Travel to select YAGP semi-finals and events, working on the travel team
\n• Review all content carefully to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality presentation
\n• Livestream classes at select events
\n• Adapt content for the specific style, audience, and technical requirements of each platform
\n• Regularly review and follow the social media content calendar to ensure all content is completed and published accurately and on schedule
\nQualifications:
\n• Experience creating content for major social media platforms
\n• Strong video-editing skills; experience with photo-editing tools
\n• Strong knowledge of Canva
\n• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
\n• Exceptional attention to detail
\n• Strong creative instincts and visual storytelling skills
\n• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
\n• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to last-minute changes
\n• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
\n• Comfortable traveling and working select evenings and weekends during events
\n• Appreciation for ballet
\n• Strong understanding of social media trends, platform best practices, and audience engagement
