About David Gandy Wellwear

David Gandy Wellwear launched in 2021 to make menswear you'll want to live in. Wellwear takes a multi-sensory approach to design, exploring the scientific benefits of soft, comfortable clothing and the belief that every piece should be both physically and emotionally durable.

We're a small dynamic team. Every role shapes the brand, and your work shows up from day one.

About the role

This is a new role for our team. You'll run our brand channels day to day, create most of the content yourself and help shape our social strategy.

You'll report to the Product Director and work closely with the whole team. You won't manage anyone, so you'll set your own priorities, spot opportunities before anyone asks and get things done without close supervision.

Success looks like a growing community, a rising engagement rate and a steady flow of content driving traffic and sales to our website.

What you'll do:

Content

•      Shoot, edit and publish social-first content for Instagram (feed, reels, stories) and TikTok, quickly and to a high standard.

•      Capture brand moments across the business, from new fabrics and products to fit sessions, shoots and behind the scenes.

•      Rework campaign and product imagery into new formats such as Reels, carousels and short-form video.

•      Produce video and static assets built for paid social, working with the team who run our ads.

•      Write all social copy in the Wellwear tone of voice.

•      Spot trends early and adapt them so they feel like Wellwear.

•      Own the day-to-day running of Instagram and TikTok, plus Facebook, Pinterest and LinkedIn.

•      Plan and keep a content calendar in line with product launches, campaigns and key trading moments.

•      Schedule and publish to a consistent rhythm, leaving room for reactive content.

•      Keep up with platform updates and test new formats and features.

Community

•      Own all DMs and comments across our channels, replying quickly in a warm, human, on-brand voice.

•      Build relationships with customers, fans and advocates to grow an engaged community.

•      Find, curate and share user-generated content, securing permissions every time.

•      Monitor sentiment and pass product feedback or customer issues to the right person in the team.

•      Find, approach and manage creators and influencers, working alongside our PR partners.

•      Run gifting and collaborations from brief through to content delivery.

•      Share creator content across our own channels.

Strategy

•      Bring ideas to our social strategy, content pillars and creative guidelines.

•      Agree KPIs with the Product Director and report on performance monthly.

•      Track community growth, engagement rate, reach, website traffic and revenue from social.

•      Use the numbers to decide what to make next, then test, learn and adjust.

•      Keep an eye on competitors and the wider menswear market.

•      Use AI tools for ideas, research, planning and saving time, without losing our tone of voice.

What you'll bring

•      2+ years managing social media for a fashion, lifestyle or consumer brand, with results you can point to.

•      A portfolio of content you've shot, edited and published, with Instagram and TikTok as a must.

•      Confidence behind the camera and comfort in front of it when the content calls for you.

•      Fast, high-quality editing in CapCut, Premiere or similar, plus design skills in Canva and Figma.

•      Experience with scheduling and analytics tools such as Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite and TikTok Analytics.

•      Sharp copywriting and strong attention to detail.

•      Confidence with data, reading the numbers and turning them into decisions.

•      An understanding of how organic content differs from content built for paid ads.

•      A self-managing, organised way of working, even when everything feels urgent.

•      A genuine interest in menswear, natural materials and sustainability.

•      The right to work in the UK.

What we offer

•      Staff discount

•      25 Days (+ bank holidays) holiday allowance plus your birthday off

•      Company pension scheme

•      Hybrid working in London
