Core Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Social Content Production & Operations Specialist to support the development and execution of high-quality social content across lululemon China’s social channels.

You understand how to translate creative and business intent into clear, coordinated execution across multiple internal teams and external partners. You are highly organized, proactive and comfortable operating in fast-moving environments where priorities, timelines and project requirements can evolve quickly.

This role goes beyond traditional production. You will act as a key operational partner across Social, Creative, PR, Ambassador, E-commerce, Events, Media, agencies and production partners, helping ensure the right people, information, resources and decisions come together at the right time.

You understand the end-to-end content production process and are able to anticipate dependencies, identify risks, drive alignment and independently solve operational challenges.

  • Own end-to-end production and operations across social content projects, from planning and pre-production through onsite execution, post-production and delivery.
  • Translate creative briefs and evolving business requirements into clear production plans, timelines, ownership and next steps.
  • Act as a key operational partner across internal teams and external agencies, ensuring communication, responsibilities and project dependencies are clear.
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects across social content, livestreaming, integrated campaigns, event-related content, talent and ambassador productions.
  • Maintain a clear single source of truth across projects, including timelines, deliverables, latest versions, approvals, key decisions and ownership.
  • Anticipate production and operational risks, proactively identifying issues related to resources, timing, venue, talent, technical requirements or cross-functional dependencies, and drive solutions before escalation is required.
  • Manage external agencies, production partners and freelance resources, matching project needs with the right production capabilities and working models.
  • Manage core production requirements including budget tracking, scheduling, casting, location scouting, styling, shoot execution, payment and invoicing where relevant.
  • Ensure projects deliver on time, on budget and in line with social strategy, creative direction and brand guidelines.
  • Build and continuously improve production workflows, partner databases, project templates and operational standards to support more efficient and scalable ways of working.
  • Partner closely with Social Content and Creative leads, enabling creative teams to focus on audience, storytelling and creative quality while independently owning operational follow-through.
  • Stay on the pulse of the social and content landscape, continuously improving how we produce and operate across platforms and formats.

Qualifications

  • At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in integrated production, content operations, project management or account management.
  • Strong agency-side experience is preferred, particularly within integrated production, creative agency, content agency or account management environments.
  • Experience across both agency and brand-side environments is highly valued.
  • This is not a pure Producer role. Candidates should have strong production knowledge, but also demonstrate the ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders, dependencies, priorities and operational complexity.
  • Strong experience working across multiple internal and external stakeholders, including creative, production, agencies, talent, platforms, events or business teams.
  • Strong operational judgement and ability to identify risks, prioritize, problem-solve and drive projects to closure independently.
  • Comfortable working in fast-changing environments and able to turn ambiguity into clear actions and ownership.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with a natural instinct to follow through and close loops.
  • Able to challenge, negotiate and make recommendations rather than simply relay information.
  • Experience in social-first content, livestreaming, integrated campaigns, talent production or event-integrated content is a strong plus.
  • Douyin content and production experience is highly relevant.
  • Sports or lifestyle content production experience is a plus.
  • Good command of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel / Apple Pages.
  • Good working proficiency in both Chinese and English.
  • Outstanding team player with a calm, proactive and solutions-oriented working style.

must haves

  • Acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for your life.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovate to achieve great results.
  • Communicate with honesty and kindness and create the space for others to do the same.
  • Lead with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure.
  • Foster connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships.
  • Integrate fun and joy as a way of being and working, aka doesn’t take yourself too seriously.
