Social & Community Lead
Community & Social Lead
Full-time
Fifteen years in. Fourteen times bigger in the last five. B Corp certified. Wirecutter’s pick for best laptop backpack. The work we do has substance.
Troubadour is a brand people talk about. Our customers are engineers, founders and makers, and many of them found us through a friend. The audience is there. The brand is strong. What's missing is the community: the thing that connects these people to each other, not just to us. Your job is to build it, by bringing the right people together, on and off social.
You will own our community end to end: the creator network, the brand collaborations, the in-person moments in London, and the organic social channels that carry them all back to a wider audience. You will also run the social channels of our co-founder and CEO, Samuel, working directly with him on voice and content. He has a clear point of view, and we want it out in the world without it reading like a ghostwriter wrote it.
Community sits at the heart of the role. Content and channels are the tools. The goal is a fanbase that feels part of something. Some of our best ideas have come from the dinner tables in London.
We're a small team that produces like a much bigger one, because we use AI at every layer of the business. In this role, that means using it to plan, produce and repurpose content faster, so your time goes where it matters most: taste and relationships.
What You'll Do
You've built a community before, on and off social, and you can show what changed because of it. You write well, you have good taste, and creators like working with you. You look past vanity metrics to what actually moved. You're as comfortable hosting a dinner as planning a content calendar.
How To Apply
Send your CV, portfolio and a short note on why this role fits.

What You'll Do
- Build a small, high-quality creator and ambassador network, and manage it to budget.
- Bring the community together in person: founder dinners, events at our Beak Street store, pop-ups and launches, then share it all back through social.
- Own Troubadour's Instagram and LinkedIn: strategy, calendar, content and community management. Success is measured in reach, engagement, community and brand awareness.
- Run Samuel's social channels, working directly with him.
- Source and pitch brand collaborations that feel right for Troubadour.
- Test formats and ideas constantly. Scale what works, stop what doesn't.
