About Kpop Exchange

Kpop Exchange is a fast-growing Denver-based K-pop merchandise retailer. We are a five-star TikTok Shop seller with a real storefront, a growing online business, and a presence on Shop App and Treet. Our TikTok Shop is more than a sales channel; it's our digital flagship, discovery engine, and live-selling storefront. We've never had anyone dedicated full-time to it, that's where you come in.

The Role

We're hiring our first dedicated Social Commerce & Content Manager to own TikTok Shop content, start to finish. You'll personally shoot, edit, and publish shoppable video content daily. This is a hands-on creation role, not a strategy-only seat. You should expect to be in front of the camera regularly, not just behind it. You may become a recognizable face of Kpop Exchange to our community. As your TikTok Shop cadence stabilizes, you'll expand your focus to Instagram and Facebook.

What You'll Own

  • Hands-on content production: shooting, editing, and personally publishing shoppable videos daily, our historical benchmark is 3+ videos/day, but part of your job is helping us find the right cadence
  • Regular on-camera appearances, you may be a primary face of the brand across our channels, alongside sourcing and featuring other on-camera talent
  • TikTok SEO: product tagging, captions, hashtags, hooks, covers, and publishing timing
  • Product prioritization, informed by new arrivals, sell-through, and the K-pop comeback/release calendar
  • Weekly TikTok Shop performance reporting, what's working and why
  • Instagram and Facebook presence, built out as TikTok Shop cadence stabilizes
  • Support for live-selling sessions, filming, product staging, prep (hosting not required)
  • Regular time at our retail store, building relationships with our customer/collector community and finding people who are naturally good on camera

Who You Are

  • A genuine K-pop fan, you know comebacks, photocards, POBs, biases, and fandom language, and can talk shop with our customers naturally
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience creating and publishing short-form commerce or brand content
  • Comfortable being on camera regularly, energetic, personable, and natural on video, not just skilled behind the lens
  • Comfortable with TikTok Shop mechanics, or a fast learner with strong short-form platform instincts
  • Real, working fluency with AI tools (ChatGPT/Claude) for research, ideation, and workflow, beyond just writing captions
  • Based in the Denver area, available for regular in-office and in-store days

Compensation

$72,000–$88,000 base, depending on experience. Content production equipment, software, and budget provided separately from salary.

This role has real room to grow as the function proves out, strong performance opens the door to a broader, department-building scope over time.

How to Apply

Please submit your resume to careers@kpop.exchange along with a portfolio or links to short-form content you've personally shot, edited, and posted. Along with your application, answer the three questions below, we're less interested in polish here and more in how you think.

  • 1. Send us a link to a piece of short-form commerce content you personally shot, edited, and posted, then tell us what you'd change about it if you made it again.
  • 2. What's a current K-pop comeback, release, or trend you're personally excited about right now and how would you turn it into a video for our TikTok Shop this week?
  • 3. Tell us about a time a video or post you made didn't perform the way you expected. What did you think happened, and what did you change next time?
