Your team

The HUB team, based in Amsterdam, brings together digital media specialists who manage and activate campaigns for international clients across multiple markets.

From our Amsterdam HUB, we work closely with clients, local dentsu teams and global platform partners to translate international strategies into effective activation at scale. Our goal is to make digital media simpler, smarter and more scalable, while maintaining the quality and local relevance each market needs.

Within the HUB, our Social capability plays an important role in how international brands connect with consumers. We develop and activate platform-native approaches across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube and other social platforms, balancing brand building with performance.

You’ll be part of an international and diverse team in Amsterdam, collaborating with colleagues across different markets, disciplines and cultures. You’ll also work closely with our platform partners and local market teams.

What are you going to do?

As a Social Campaign Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day planning, activation and optimisation of paid social campaigns for international clients across multiple markets. You’ll combine platform expertise, data and creative thinking to deliver strong campaign performance and continuously identify opportunities to improve results.

You will:

  • Manage paid social campaigns from setup and activation through to optimisation and reporting;
  • Translate client objectives and agreed strategies into effective campaign setups;
  • Manage audiences, budgets, formats and campaign structures across social platforms;
  • Monitor performance and proactively identify optimisation opportunities;
  • Coordinate campaign delivery across different markets and ensure consistency and quality;
  • Work closely with local dentsu teams to adapt campaigns where local market needs require it;
  • Collaborate with clients, creative teams, analytics specialists and platform partners;
  • Use platform capabilities, automation and AI tools to improve campaign effectiveness and efficiency;
  • Contribute insights and recommendations to client conversations and performance reviews;
  • Stay up to date with platform developments, trends and best practices.

You’ll have ownership of your campaigns while working closely with senior specialists and leads on more complex strategic questions and client challenges.

Your role is to ensure social campaigns are delivered effectively across markets and generate measurable value for our clients.

You will:

  • Deliver high-quality, insight-led social campaigns aligned with client objectives;
  • Improve performance through continuous optimisation, testing and learning;
  • Translate campaign data into clear insights and actionable recommendations;
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered consistently and accurately across markets;
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and make campaign activation more efficient and scalable;
  • Help connect social activity with broader media and marketing strategies;
  • Develop your strategic expertise and increasingly contribute to client recommendations.

Ultimately, you’ll help make social a measurable, effective and scalable part of our clients’ international media strategies.

Core focus areas

Social & Platform Expertise

  • Strong working knowledge of paid social platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube;
  • Understand platform formats, algorithms and key optimisation levers;
  • Apply platform best practices to improve campaign performance;
  • Understand how platform capabilities can support different business and campaign objectives;
  • Continue developing expertise across emerging platforms, tools and capabilities.

Strategy & Campaign Management

  • Translate agreed strategies into effective campaign setups;
  • Manage campaign structures, audiences, budgets, targeting and formats;
  • Independently manage day-to-day campaign optimisation;
  • Coordinate campaign activation across multiple markets;
  • Contribute ideas and insights to full-funnel social strategies.

Data, Insights & Reporting

  • Analyse campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement;
  • Turn data into clear insights and recommendations;
  • Prepare reporting and contribute to client performance reviews;
  • Support structured test & learn agendas across creative, audiences, formats and targeting;
  • Use learnings across markets to identify opportunities that can be scaled.

Creative & Content Excellence

  • Work with creative teams to ensure content is platform-native and performance-focused;
  • Identify creative performance trends and recommend optimisations;
  • Understand how creative requirements and performance can differ across platforms and markets;
  • Connect paid, organic, influencer and creator approaches where relevant.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Participate actively in client meetings and performance reviews;
  • Clearly communicate campaign performance, insights and recommendations;
  • Build strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders;
  • Collaborate with local market teams to ensure campaigns are activated effectively;
  • Work across strategy, analytics, creative and media teams to ensure aligned delivery.

Innovation & Development

  • Stay informed about developments in social media, AI and digital marketing;
  • Test new platform features, automation and tools where relevant;
  • Identify opportunities to make campaign management more effective and efficient;
  • Share learnings and best practices with the wider HUB team;
  • Contribute to internal initiatives and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with junior and senior colleagues within the HUB;
  • Share platform knowledge and campaign learnings with the team;
  • Support junior colleagues with campaign-related questions where appropriate;
  • Take ownership of your workload, deadlines and campaign responsibilities;
  • Contribute to wider team initiatives and new business opportunities.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Success in this role will be measured across:

  • Campaign performance against agreed client objectives;
  • CPA, CPC, CTR, conversion rate and other relevant performance metrics;
  • Brand, engagement and attention metrics where relevant;
  • Quality and accuracy of campaign execution;
  • Effective budget management and pacing;
  • Quality of insights and optimisation recommendations;
  • Consistency and quality of delivery across markets;
  • Client satisfaction and effective stakeholder collaboration;
  • Contribution to testing, learning, innovation and team development.

Who are you?

  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in paid social, working with platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and/or YouTube;
  • Comfortable independently setting up, managing and optimising paid social campaigns;
  • Good understanding of campaign strategy, audience targeting, budgets and performance optimisation;
  • Experience working with campaign data and turning it into actionable insights;
  • Strong attention to detail and comfortable managing multiple campaigns, markets and deadlines;
  • Confident communicating campaign performance and recommendations to clients and stakeholders;
  • Comfortable collaborating with colleagues across different markets, cultures and disciplines;
  • Curious, proactive and eager to continue developing your strategic capabilities;
  • Comfortable working in an international, fast-paced environment;
  • Passionate about social media, digital advertising, innovation and continuous learning.

Experience working on international or multi-market campaigns is a plus, but not a requirement.
