Senior Social Media Specialist
As an essential member of the Communications team at Freeport-McMoRan's Phoenix headquarters, you have primary responsibility for managing the company's corporate digital channels. This includes developing and writing creative, data-driven, branded content to earn trust with key stakeholders and build affinity with target online and social audiences. Hybrid role.
You implement strategy for the corporate digital ecosystem, create and oversee the curation of organic and paid content, and oversee corporate digital storytelling, reputation management and amplification strategy. You provide counsel on the editorial content calendar and creative branded content mix, administer social media platforms, run listening and engagement activities, and analyze key performance indicators.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Mass Communications, English or similar field and seven years of experience in Corporate Communications or Mass Communications with an emphasis on social media, or a Master's degree and five years of experience.
- Extensive experience with social media platforms and tools, social media writing, editing and monitoring.
- Graphic design and production skills.
- Excellent command of grammar and knowledge of AP writing style.
- Ability to turn long-form writing into concise social media content consistent with the company's voice and tone.
Preferred
- Experience in a multi-location organization with global communications and mining, natural resources or similar industry.
- Excellent social media, video and photography skills.
- Bilingual.
The estimated annual pay range is $87,500 - $120,000 base salary.
