Senior Content Producer
THE COMPANY
Manors Golf Apparel is a London-based golf brand. We make clothing for golfers who care more about where the game takes them than their handicap, and we’ve built a community around that through our campaigns, events, collaborations, and content.
We’re not your typical performance brand. We’re the brand that believes golf is not a sport to be mastered but a game to be explored. That’s the lens everything gets made through.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re at 20,000 subscribers and 100,000 monthly views, without ever having a dedicated YouTube person or proper long form content strategy. That’s what this role is about changing.
We need a Senior Content Producer to take what’s already working and build something deliberate around it. That means a real publishing schedule, a production operation that actually runs, and 24 original long-form videos, 24 ambassador collaboration videos, and 100 Shorts delivered across the year.
Creative direction sits with our Creative Director and Head of Marketing, you’ll work to brief and sign off through them. But the production operation is yours to own. If it doesn’t get made, that’s on you.
This role has a clear path. Do it well and year two looks like a lot more creative autonomy and the Showrunner title to go with it.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Production management
- Manage the full production pipeline across YouTube content: scheduling, crew, locations, logistics, and delivery
- Coordinate 24 original long-form productions and 24 ambassador collaboration videos year 1, keeping each on schedule and on budget
- Brief and book freelance crew as needed, camera, sound, editors, and manage those relationships
- Work with our in-house designer on any production support, planning their capacity in advance
Shorts
- Produce 100 Shorts across the year, this isn’t repurposed long-form, its platform-native content planned and made to work on its own terms
- Stay close to what’s performing on Shorts and feed that back into the content plan
Post and publishing
- Own the post pipeline from rough cut through to final delivery, whether you’re editing yourself or overseeing a freelance editor, you’re responsible for what goes out
- Handle all publishing: titles, descriptions, thumbnails, chapters, tags, scheduling
- Keep watch time, retention, and growth data and report back monthly.
Budget and operations
- Manage the production budget per video and across the channel, track spend, flag overruns early, find efficiencies without compromising quality
- Manage a dedicated YouTube budget to ensure we hit all our deliverables throughout the year.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- You’ve produced YouTube content from scratch, not as part of a large team where someone else handled logistics, booked the crew, and ran the budget. You did it.
- You know how to operate lean: one hire, one channel, a lot of output. If your reference point is a production house with a full department behind you, this probably isn’t the right move.
- Strong post skills, Premiere or equivalent. You don’t need to edit yourself but you need to be capable of doing it.
- You understand YouTube as a platform: what makes a thumbnail work, how retention affects distribution, what Shorts need to do differently from long-form.
- Organised to a fault. This volume of content, across originals, ambassador collabs, and Shorts, doesn’t stay on track without someone who runs a tight production calendar.
- You have an eye. The content we make isn’t just swing tips and course vlogs, it’s travel, culture, and the texture of the game. You understand that aesthetic and you know how to make content that serves a platform audience without abandoning it.
BENEFITS
- Competitive salary depending on experience
- Staff clothing allowance
- Access to Manors events, tournaments, and travel
- Flexible working.
- A small team, a clear brand, and real ownership of what you build
What To Expect
The first few months will be about getting under the skin of what we’ve already built and putting a proper production operation around it. You’ll be working directly with our Creative Director from day one — understanding the formats that have worked, building the ones that haven’t existed yet, and getting the first slate of deliverables out the door. Year one is about proving you can run it. Year two, if you do, the job gets bigger.
