Apply at FleishmanHillard UK

If you’re looking to continue your communications career in an award-winning global agency, then this might just be the role for you!

Why FleishmanHillard?

We have been named PRWeek’s Global Agency of the Year and Best Places to Work; a “Standout Agency” on Advertising Age’s A-List; NAFE’s “Top 50 Companies for Executive Women” for six years running; and among our firm’s award-winning work we’ve taken home 5 Lions at the Cannes International Festival of Creativity in previous years.

We are committed to creating an inclusive and equitable working environment for everyone. As the only PR Agency awarded EY’s National Equality Standard (twice!), all applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability or age. Do let us know if you need any adjustments made during the interview process.

The team

Our Brand Impact team harness the collective power of creative, social and strategic marketing to produce electric, infectious and award-winning communications. We create provocative, inspiring solutions for big brands with stories to tell - which could be anything from traditional media, social first content and creators to an installation, film, event or long-term movement. And while we’re part of a successful global group, we have developed a ‘start-up’ mentality of bravery and entrepreneurialism, rooted in business-changing ideas.

Working alongside PR, social, creative and earned media specialists in the UK and across our global network, you’ll be working on brands you recognise and campaigns that have the potential to make an impact beyond social.

The role

Influencers and creators are changing the way brands show up in culture and we’re looking for someone who wants to be right in the middle of it.

You’ll be primarily focused on influencer and creator work, helping turn briefs into ideas, ideas into creator partnerships and creator partnerships into work people actually want to watch, share and tell their mates about.

Alongside this, you’ll bring your PR instincts to the table, identifying opportunities to turn creator activity, cultural moments and client stories into earned media. You’ll work across both disciplines to help our clients build relevance and conversation.

You’ll be plugged into what’s happening across traditional media and social including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Substack and beyond, spotting the cultural moments, creators, communities and trends that matter. You’ll help find the right Influencers and creators for our clients, work with them to bring our client’s key messages to life, review content and report campaign successes and learnings back to clients.

The day to day:

Influencer and creator knowledge (c70%)

  • Proactively build and maintain relationships with influencers, creators, agents and media to support client needs
  • Bring fresh creator and content ideas to briefs
  • Know what influencers need when it comes to in-person experiences and events and help the team deliver campaigns that lead to coverage
  • Support the delivery of influencer campaigns from talent identification and outreach through to content creation and reporting
  • Work with a range of influencers to deliver both paid and earned coverage across relevant channels
  • Manage campaign admin and timelines accurately including briefs, deliverables, approvals, usage rights and gifting

Earned media and PR (c.30%)

  • Support earned media campaigns, from researching media and developing angles through to pitching and follow-up.
  • Identify opportunities to turn influencer and creator partnerships into earned media coverage
  • Build relationships with relevant journalists and media alongside creator and influencer relationships
  • Develop press materials, pitches and media lists
  • Monitor the news agenda and spot opportunities for our clients to authentically join conversations
  • Support media outreach and reporting

About you

  • We’re looking for someone who is curious, culturally switched on and obsessed with great content.
  • Good understanding of the UK influencer and creator landscape across key social platforms
  • Naturally curious about creators, emerging talent, social trends and online communities
  • Able to identify relevant creators based on audience, content, values and brand fit beyond just follower numbers
  • Understand what makes influencer content feel authentic and platform-native
  • Confident communicating with creators, talent managers and clients in a professional and personable way
  • Comfortable working with campaign data and influencer metrics
  • Has an interest in understanding what makes influencer activity effective rather than focusing only on reach
  • Able to manage multiple campaigns and priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Keeps up with emerging formats, trends and cultural conversations and can spot opportunities for brands to participate authentically
  • Has a good eye for content and understands why certain creator content works
  • Interest in how influencer, PR, social and media can work together rather than in isolation

If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!
