Sales Manager
The Sales Manager plays a pivotal role within Channel Factory ANZ, driving revenue growth by managing and developing an active portfolio of clients while proactively uncovering new business opportunities in Sydney. Working closely with senior sales leaders and cross-functional internal teams, you will deliver proprietary technology solutions offered in direct partnership with YouTube. Role Responsibilities:
Client Engagement
- Support the management and growth of a book of business, focusing on client retention, renewal, and incremental growth
- Build and maintain relationships with agency contacts and key stakeholders
- Assist in communicating Channel Factory’s products and how they align with client marketing objectives
- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction through responsive communication and service
Sales Strategy:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within agencies and direct clients
- Support the development and execution of sales plans to achieve revenue targets
- Contribute to client presentations and proposals, tailoring solutions to meet client needs
- Collaborate with senior team members on larger or more complex sales opportunities
Market Presence:
- Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings to build pipeline
- Represent Channel Factory in the market and help grow brand awareness
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams including marketing, product, and customer success to ensure smooth campaign delivery
- Share client feedback and market insights with internal stakeholders
Reporting and Analysis:
- Assist in maintaining account plans and tracking performance across campaigns
- Monitor campaign pacing and KPIs, flagging issues and supporting optimisation efforts
- Contribute to post-campaign reporting and analysis
- Respond to client requests in a timely and professional manner
- Analytical and critical evaluation capability required for use in post-campaign analysis
- Responding to all client requests with urgency by using knowledge and understanding of all internal systems
Requirements
- 2-4+ years of experience in digital media, programmatic sales, or online advertising (e.g. publisher, DSP, agency, ad tech platform)
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets (or contribute to team targets)
- Existing relationships with agencies or clients is highly desirable
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
