Role Mission
Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer (or People Leadership team depending on final seniority match), you will lead SAMY’s global ESG agenda and drive cultural transformation across all international markets. This role combines technical ESG compliance and reporting with internal culture, employee engagement, and brand value proposition.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and structure SAMY’s global ESG strategy, including greenhouse gas emission tracking, ESG audits, and compliance with key partners and investor frameworks (e.g., Bridgepoint).
Build and empower an internal community of global ESG ambassadors to drive initiatives across all international offices and geographies.
Own and manage internal compliance processes, ethical code investigations, and sensitive employee relations with strict confidentiality and high ethical standards.
Align ESG and diversity initiatives with SAMY’s overarching culture, developing purpose-driven programs rather than ad-hoc, isolated activities.
Partner with Marketing and Commercial leadership to integrate ESG principles into SAMY’s value proposition for clients and external positioning.
Oversee key ESG programs (such as "On the Impact"), managing external audit vendors, verification partners, and reporting platforms.
Skills & experience
Proven experience driving global ESG initiatives and corporate culture transformation in fast-paced scale-up environments or matrixed consulting firms.
Strong cross-functional project management capabilities with a track record of coordinating multi-geography initiatives and engaging global stakeholders without direct authority.
Solid familiarity with ESG metrics, carbon footprint auditing (e.g., greenhouse gas emissions), frameworks, and vendor management.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and storytelling skills, with the ability to serve as an internal reference point on key ESG and culture topics.
High discretion, integrity, and sound judgment in managing sensitive compliance, legal-people matters, and confidential internal investigations.
