Partnerships Manager
Location: Vancouver or Toronto (preferred)
At Blume, we’re on a mission to create a kinder wellness world. We believe in the magic of everyday wellness rituals and how small changes can bring big impact.
Blume is an omnichannel brand, found everywhere from Amazon to local specialty retailers, Walmart shelves, and Costco warehouses. We’re small but mighty, with big ambitions and an agile, entrepreneurial team building a category-defining wellness brand across Canada and the U.S. Today, Blume is available in over 6,000 retailers and continues to scale rapidly across both digital and retail channels while building a best-in-class community that leads with heart.
Role Overview
As Blume’s Partnerships Manager, you’ll be at the heart of how we build relationships, grow our creator community, and bring Blume into more everyday rituals. You'll own the programs and relationships behind our creator seeding, BlumeKind ambassadors, partnership ads, and brand collaborations, welcoming people to Blume’s wellness world while strengthening the community around our brand.
You'll help shape how Blume shows up beyond our own channels, creating partnerships that feel authentic, thoughtful, and true to our brand. You love building relationships: between creators and campaigns, partnerships and products, and community and growth. You’re at your best when you’re making good ideas even better, finding opportunities where others don't, and turning authentic relationships into lasting brand love.
Creator Community & Growth (35%)
- Own Blume's creator ecosystem, including seeding, the BlumeKind ambassador program, and creator lifecycle strategy.
- Build an ongoing bench of creator relationships mapped to our core personas rather than sourcing ad hoc per campaign, ensuring each program drives awareness, advocacy, and long-term brand affinity.
- Develop creator campaigns, mailers, and briefs that align with product launches, seasonal campaigns, and key brand moments, inspiring creators to share authentic content that supports broader marketing objectives.
- Nurture long-term relationships with creators as a trusted point of contact, identifying opportunities to elevate high performers into ambassador, paid, or strategic partnership roles in collaboration with the Marketing team.
- Manage creator communications and community initiatives, from newsletters and contests to surprise and delight moments, that strengthen engagement and recognize creators and partners beyond campaign moments.
- Forecast product inventory, manage program budgets, and track performance across creator programs to continuously optimize results.
- Partner with the Events Manager to integrate creators into Blume's experiential marketing strategy, connecting our online community with in-person brand moments.
Partnership Ads & Creator Performance (30%)
- Partner with the Digital Marketing team to scale Blume's partnership ads program, helping grow one of Blume's fastest-growing acquisition channels.
- Own creator sourcing and vetting for partnership ads, including whitelisting negotiations, usage rights, and compensation, building a high-quality pipeline aligned to target audiences and campaign objectives.
- Continuously evaluate new platforms, tools, and data to refine sourcing and partnership strategy and support the program's long-term scalability.
- You know a good creator fit isn't just the numbers. You can balance performance data with brand alignment to identify where we should continue investing.
- Identify opportunities to connect BlumeKind and our partnership ads program, creating a seamless creator journey from organic advocacy to paid performance.
- Manage creator onboarding within the Partnership Ads Hub and maintain an organized, scalable creator database.
Brand Partnerships (25%)
- Identify, develop, and manage strategic brand partnerships that introduce Blume to new, aligned communities and strengthen brand affinity.
- Plan and execute quarterly partnerships, from co-branded campaigns to retail collaborations, tied to product launches and key marketing moments, owning the relationship end to end.
- Lead partnership conversations from initial outreach through to execution, building relationships rooted in long-term collaboration rather than one-off campaigns.
- Evaluate partnership opportunities and determine the best path to execution, collaborating across Team Blume to bring each initiative to life.
- Partner closely with the Marketing team to bring collaborations to life across digital channels, ensuring every partnership feels cohesive, on-brand, and aligned from creative concept through launch.
- Measure partnership performance and identify opportunities to expand successful collaborations over time.
Community & Opportunity Management (10%)
- Own Blume's Community and Press inboxes, reviewing inbound creator, partnership, and collaboration inquiries to identify high-impact opportunities, and connecting each opportunity with the right team member.
- Respond to creators, partners, and community members with kindness, helping make Blume everyone's favourite brand to connect with.
- Keep a pulse on exciting people, brands, and ideas (even if it’s not an immediate fit) so we're always one step ahead when the right opportunity comes along.
Qualifications
