NIL Football Agent
Do you have a background in college football, athlete representation, or consultative sales?
Nilson Sports is seeking a Football NIL Agent to recruit athletes and manage relationships with our growing roster of P4, G6, and FCS football players. We represent more than 200 D1 athletes, helping clients navigate the transfer portal, evaluate opportunities, and negotiate university athletic contracts.
We provide the pipeline. You'll have access to dozens of active leads, ongoing inbound interest, and a full team handling scouting, player identification, and initial outreach. Our dedicated support team and established recruiting infrastructure allow you to focus on building relationships, signing athletes, and serving clients.
An established network behind you. Our relationships span coaches, GMs, and player personnel staff across all 138 FBS programs and leading FCS programs, complemented by a strong media network. You'll leverage these connections to help athletes gain visibility and find the right opportunities.
Position Details
- Type: Independent contractor
- Location: Remote, US-based
- Compensation: Competitive commission structure with uncapped earning potential
- Availability: Significant availability throughout November, December, and January
Responsibilities
- Recruiting: Convert warm leads into signed athletes through relationship-building, consistent follow-up, and consultative sales
- Athlete Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned athletes and their families, maintaining strong relationships and consistent follow-up
- Transfer Portal Services: Help athletes evaluate opportunities and connect with college football coaches, GMs, and personnel staff
- Contract Negotiation: Work alongside our team to negotiate university athletic agreements and advocate for player-friendly terms
The Ideal Candidate Brings
- Relevant sports agency or college football experience, strong relationship-building skills, and a recruiting or sales mindset
- Knowledge of the NIL and college football landscapes, with relationships among players, coaches, or university personnel
- Proven ability to maintain consistent follow-up and turn conversations into commitments
- Organization and responsiveness to manage multiple athlete relationships throughout transfer portal season
