Mom Content Creator
You'll be making short-form social content for a major consumer brand in the baby and parenting space. This is regular, ongoing volume, not a one-off project.
We're specifically looking for a mom who is also a strong short-form creator — someone who understands parenting content firsthand and knows how to make it feel natural, useful and native to TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
This is a small-footprint job: you, an iPhone, and real-life parenting situations.
You'll film primarily on an iPhone.

- Trend-driven short-form content
We're looking for content that feels like something a mom would actually stop scrolling to watch — natural, relatable and useful without looking overly produced.
Natural light. Handheld. Fast. No large crew or complicated production setup.
Some concepts may require other moms, parents or families on camera.
When needed, you'll help find talent through Actors Access, Backstage, your own network or similar platforms — posting breakdowns, reviewing submissions and identifying people who feel authentic on camera.
You'll edit your own footage into vertical content for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
You understand:
- Hooks in the first second
- Retention and pacing
- On-screen captions
- Native social editing
- Trending formats and audio
- How to make branded content feel organic
Turnaround is measured in days, not weeks.
You'll receive creative briefs and product information, turn those into shootable concepts and shot lists, and work directly with the Happy Productions team to get content approved and delivered.
Required
- You're a mom. Firsthand experience with babies, toddlers or young children is important for this role.
- NYC-based and available to shoot in person on a regular basis.
- You have short-form content that you personally filmed and edited.
- Genuinely good with an iPhone camera. You can make a kitchen counter at 4 p.m. look intentional.
- Comfortable editing in CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut or equivalent. We care about the result, not the software.
- You understand TikTok, Reels and Shorts as platforms — hooks, pacing, retention, trends and what makes people stop scrolling.
- Comfortable being on camera when a concept calls for it.
- Comfortable directing other moms, parents and non-actors and getting a natural, unstiff performance from them.
Strongly preferred
- You've created parenting, baby, family, lifestyle or mom-focused content before.
- You've cast talent through Actors Access, Backstage or a similar platform.
- You've had a video — yours or a client's — go viral and can explain why you think it worked.
- You've worked with baby or parenting products firsthand.
- Agency or brand-client experience, rather than only posting to your own channel.
- Existing relationships with other NYC moms or parent creators who could occasionally appear in content.
- Ongoing, regular volume.
- Rate and workload scale based on what you can handle.
- You'll own this content lane while being backed by Happy Productions' producer and post team.
- Your primary camera is your iPhone.
- We cover approved casting fees, talent, locations, products and other necessary shoot expenses.

- A short introduction telling us about yourself as a mom and the age(s) of your child/children.
- Any experience creating baby, parenting, family or lifestyle content.
- Your location in NYC and general availability for recurring shoots.
- If you've had a video perform exceptionally well, send it and tell us in 1–2 sentences why you think it worked.
