Job Description

McCann New York is looking for a Model Talent Coordinator to support the Talent Partnerships team. The Model Talent Coordinator has a natural ability to maintain a solid focus, while dealing with ambiguity and constant change. They thrive in an administrative heavy position, love tracking details, and excel at multitasking and handling several projects at the same time. Overall, they should have a passion for casting, spreadsheets, data organization, and the industry, and will be trained on processes specific to the role and agency.

What You’ll Do

  • Correspond with agents for talent availability and maintain trackers for upcoming shoots
  • Build and update casting and asset tracking decks
  • Maintain booking sheets and manage fit model bookings
  • Assist with the creation of casting PowerPoint presentations for creative team reviews
  • Coordinate celebrity talent travel
  • Manage talent library
  • Research Gen Z trends, music culture, and up and coming talent of all ages and abilities around the globe
  • Assist the Casting Director with day-to-day tasks including in-person castings
  • Support Casting Director in working with Project Management team to renew and extend talent usage rights for campaigns using a data assessment management system (FADEL)
  • Team up with Video Operations Manager on gathering final released and approved assets to share with talent
  • Partner with Business Affairs and The Team Companies to process print talent payments, track final invoices, and manage SAG commercial motion contracts
  • Open Purchase Orders
  • Handle expense reporting for team and other administrative duties as assigned

What You Bring

  • At least 1-2 years of professional experience in a creative agency and/or production environment is required
  • Understanding of SAG, tax paperwork, and/or contract structure strongly preferred
  • A passion for identifying new trends and culture – it’s the knowledge that helps us find who we need for the brand!
  • Highly organized, meticulous, resourceful, and proactive in nature – ready to take on new challenges, immerse yourself in the role and grow your casting career in beauty
  • Skilled at creating and maintaining easily digestible Excel trackers
  • Ability to juggle several assignments at once and work on projects with multiple contributors
  • Clear and concise communicator with excellent communication, critical thinking skills, and client-facing skills; you have a natural ability to effectively collaborate and are a good listener and problem solver
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) required and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Culturally astute, with an innate interest and knowledge of the beauty and fashion categories; a passion for marketing and appreciation for all things creative

Salary range: $50,000-60,000

Salary ranges depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.

Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
