Marketing Assistant

Lee Creative is seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to provide support across social media strategy, content execution, and marketing initiatives for its growing portfolio of client accounts. This is a part-time independent contractor opportunity at $25/hour, with an anticipated workload of approximately 10-20 hours per week. The position may evolve into a full-time employment role based on business needs, performance, and mutual interest.

Scope of work

• Social media content planning and scheduling
• Short-form video editing
• Social media copywriting and caption development
• Social media, trend, and industry research
• Community engagement
• Organization of client creative assets
• Support with social media reporting and analytics
• Content creation and iPhone photo/video capture
• Other agreed-upon social media and marketing projects based on client needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Digital Media, or a closely related field
• Strong understanding of social media marketing and digital content
• Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and current social media trends
• Experience using Canva, CapCut, Edits, or similar creative tools
• Strong writing, grammar, proofreading, and communication skills
• Comfortable capturing photo and video content on an iPhone
• Previous agency, freelance, internship, social media, or marketing experience strongly preferred
