Creative Development & Production Managers are the heartbeat of the title social campaign's asset execution and creative production strategy. In partnership with Title Social and Platform Managers, they are responsible for ideating and fully executing the creative vision to support Netflix titles, from development to delivery, leading teams of physical production partners, directors, editors, and writers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead creative development for key programming opportunities in partnership with Social Managers to support title launches across the film slate, plus flex projects across other verticals
  • Own the creative output of a title, from production capture and one-off shoots to quick-turn edits
  • Merge creative ideation with platform knowledge (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest) with an eye for creative opportunities
  • Work closely with Netflix's Photo and AV Studio (PAVS) for on-set capture and content strategy during production
  • Manage budgets and communicate costs clearly to cross-functional partners
  • Lead vendor selection, physical shoot preparation, post-production (graphics, music), and final asset lock

Background and Specific Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in production in entertainment or adjacent industries, with directing experience
  • A robust creative portfolio and proven track record of strong editorial creative that gets shared and talked about
  • Strong producer who knows how to bring a creative vision to life, with strong relationships in the production community
  • Highly knowledgeable in social platform performance and the right creative for individual platforms

Generally, Netflix's compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; there are no bonuses. Employees choose each year how much of their compensation they want in salary versus stock options. The range for this role is $177,000 to $306,000, based on job family, background, skills, and experience.
