Live E-commerce Talent Manager, Brand Lives
About the job
From a founding team that has built a portfolio of companies collectively valued at over $300 Million, including other leading TikTok-specialized agencies, MomentIQ harnesses the power of TikTok Shop to build the next generation of powerhouse D2C brands.
MomentIQ - By the Data
- MomentIQ produces thousands of hours of LIVE Selling Events monthly for category-leading brands.
- MomentIQ drives $150,000,000+/year in sales on TikTok Shop.
- TikTok awarded MomentIQ the #1 US TikTok Shop Partner at selling products via TikTok Shop posts ("seller short video campaigns", Q3, 2025).
- Our production studio, located in Sherman Oaks, CA, is a
Our Studio
Everything we do runs out of our Sherman Oaks facility. Dedicated sets built for each brand, in-house production controlling lighting and camera for every stream, and hosts going live for three hours at a stretch in front of audiences of thousands. Brand founders and executives walk through regularly to watch their products sell in real time. This is not a laptop-and-ring-light operation, and the talent we put on camera is held to that standard.
Own a piece of what you're building
- Part of the magic of MomentIQ is that everyone here owns a piece of what we're building.
- Everyone owning a piece of the upside is part of what has enabled us to bring together the best team in the industry, and it's part of what makes the MomentIQ culture so special.
- With a valuation well into the tens of millions as of our last private equity round, a MomentIQ equity package is a very special opportunity that even the leading US venture capitalists literally can not buy their way into for any price.
Who we're looking for
- LIVE Talent Background - Have sourced, cast, trained, or managed on-camera livestream talent at a leading TikTok Shop Partner agency, MCN, livestream studio, or talent agency. Only exception here is if you've been building the host bench for a brand moving $1M+/month
- Bring your bench with you - Have a real network of live shopping hosts and moderators you can call today, not a plan to start searching on job boards
- Be a trainer, not just a recruiter - Have taken raw talent and developed them into hosts who can carry a stream and hit a number
- Know what converts on camera - Bonus points if you've hosted or moderated live shopping streams yourself
- Have the eye and the spine - Able to watch an audition tape, make the call, and deliver hard feedback to a performer without flinching
- Love what you do - Have as big of a passion for building and executing LIVE programs (and companies) as we do.
- Be ecstatic about the idea of changing your life with 3-5 years of grinding and building - excited about the idea of the next few years being a grind with long hours, in exchange for learning how to create companies at the biggest scale and a massive equity payout if this continues going as it seems to be going
- Be even more humble than you are great at this - You'll be working with some of the best company builders from several different industries during this journey. You're expected to be an in-depth expert in this space, but also check your ego at the door and be ready to learn on a more wholistic level.
- Be someone we want to hang out with - We're past the years of working with people that we're not excited to see every day.
- Be in Los Angeles - This role runs auditions, trainings, and live days on-site at our Sherman Oaks studio
If this sounds like you, and what you're looking for in this stage of life, then we'd love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities for our Live Talent Manager
1. Talent Pipeline
- Own a continuous pipeline of live hosts, moderators, and studio operators across every category we staff: beauty, wellness, supplements, home, and more
- Source against our brand roadmap, not against vacancies. When a new brand signs, the bench is already there
- Close our named gaps deliberately: male hosts, Spanish-speaking hosts, weekend coverage
- Run discovery calls and in-person mock live auditions at the studio, and make the casting call
2. Host Development - From Audition to Brand-Ready
- Own the full development arc for every host: fundamentals, product storytelling, stamina and delivery, mock lives, homework, shadowing, supervised solo, brand-ready
- Run brand immersion sessions so talent knows the SKU list, the hero products, and the pricing before they ever go live
- Train moderators and operators on the backend, the dashboard, and how to actually support a host mid-stream
- Sign off on who is ready. Nobody goes in front of a client brand until you say so
3. Casting & Brand Fit
- Match talent to brands on category affinity, audience fit, and demonstrated performance
- Build and present casting packages to brand clients, and manage the talent relationship through launch delays and reassignments
- Work with Account Managers on host feedback from clients, and act on it fast
4. Roster Ownership & Standards
- Own the host and moderator roster of record and keep it current
- Hold the standard on camera-ready presentation, dress code, on-air messaging compliance, and schedule reliability
- Coach the active roster with 1:1 resets and monthly check-ins tied to on-camera presence and sales effectiveness
- Negotiate rates within approved bands and run new talent through onboarding
- Partner with LIVE scheduling every week on availability, coverage, call-outs, and training slots
