Salary: £55k-£65k
We’re looking for a Head of Content with a deep understanding of the current YouTube landscape. If you have experience working in YouTube, understand how to hold a viewer’s attention and know how to create packaging that makes people want to click, keep reading.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing:
• Leading our long & short form content strategy across both our YouTube Channels.
• Providing clear feedback to editors, scriptwriters and content ideators to make sure videos are captivating & clickable.
• Ideating & scripting long form concepts.
• Ideating & scripting short form concepts.
• Reviewing & optimising packaging across both channels.
• Keeping on top of trends, formats and what’s working across platforms.
• Working closely with the wider team to maintain high standards and ensure content is delivered consistently and on time.
The Kind of Person We’re After
• Experienced. You have done this type of role before, at a senior level.
• Data-driven. You’re interested in and fully understand the implications of all the data provided by YouTube Studio.
• Organised. You can manage multiple projects simultaneously without things getting messy.
• Detail-focused. You notice pacing, wording, sound effects, shot choices and understand the impact they have on viewer retention.
• Confident giving feedback. You can explain what needs changing and why.
