FOUNDING PARTNER / SENIOR TALENT MANAGER
Los Angeles, CA | Full-Time | Founding Partner / Equity Opportunity
An opportunity to build something, not just join something.
We are launching a new independent boutique talent management company in Los Angeles focused on representing a highly selective roster of creators, actors, and entertainers.
The company will take a modern, entrepreneurial approach to management, helping talent build not only successful careers, but enduring personal brands and businesses across entertainment, digital media, brand partnerships, licensing, products, and other opportunities.
We are looking for an experienced, connected, entrepreneurial Senior Talent Manager to join as a Founding Partner and play a meaningful role in building the company from the ground up.
This is not a traditional management position. We are looking for someone who wants to have real ownership, real influence, and a real role in shaping the company.
The ideal candidate is currently working at an established management company, talent agency, or entertainment organization and has built a strong reputation for developing talent and creating opportunities.
You may be a senior manager or executive who has reached a point where you want more autonomy, greater upside, and the opportunity to help build something of your own.
As a Founding Partner, you will have the opportunity to help establish the company's:
- Vision and management philosophy
- Talent roster and signing strategy
- Company culture and infrastructure
- Business development strategy
- Brand and industry positioning
- Strategic partnerships
- Long-term growth strategy
You will also take an active role in managing and developing talent, identifying new opportunities, and helping build the businesses and brands surrounding our clients.
- Manage and develop a select roster of creators, actors, and entertainers
- Identify, recruit, and sign new talent
- Develop long-term career and business strategies for clients
- Source and negotiate brand partnerships and sponsorships
- Develop licensing, product, collaboration, and entrepreneurial opportunities
- Pursue acting, television, film, digital, live entertainment, and other opportunities where appropriate
- Help clients expand their audiences and build valuable personal brands
- Develop relationships with brands, agencies, production companies, studios, networks, platforms, and other industry partners
- Identify opportunities that extend beyond traditional talent management
- Participate in company strategy, business development, and growth
- Help establish the systems, standards, and culture of the company
- Contribute to building a highly selective, high-touch roster rather than a high-volume management business
We are looking for someone who is already established in the entertainment industry and has demonstrated success managing talent.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 4+ years of relevant entertainment, talent management, or agency experience
- An existing roster of current talent
- A strong network of relationships across entertainment, brands, agencies, and digital media
- A demonstrated history of signing, developing, and managing talent
- Strong understanding of the creator economy and evolving digital entertainment landscape
- Experience translating digital audiences into broader entertainment and commercial opportunities
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strong business instincts and an entrepreneurial mindset
- The ability to identify opportunities rather than simply respond to them
- A strategic approach to long-term talent development
- A proactive, highly organized, and hands-on management style
- The ambition to help build a company rather than simply manage a roster
- An interest in meaningful ownership and long-term participation in the company's success
We are particularly interested in someone who has experience at a major management company, talent agency, or established entertainment organization and is ready to take the next step in their career.
This is a founding-partner opportunity, not simply a salaried management position.
The compensation package will include:
- Competitive base salary
- Meaningful equity / ownership in the company
- Founding Partner title and participation in company-building decisions
- Significant autonomy and opportunity to shape the direction of the business
The exact equity and compensation structure will be determined based on experience, relationships, existing roster, and the role the individual will play in building the company.
The entertainment and creator landscape is changing rapidly. The most successful talent increasingly needs management that understands both traditional entertainment and the business opportunities created by digital audiences.
Our goal is to build a small, sophisticated, highly connected management company that takes a genuinely long-term approach to its clients.
Rather than managing dozens or hundreds of clients, we intend to build a selective roster where each client receives meaningful attention, strategic thinking, and hands-on representation.
The right person will have the opportunity to help shape that vision from the beginning and participate directly in the value they help create.
Los Angeles, California
The role is primarily Los Angeles-based, with flexibility for the right candidate.
Qualified candidates should submit a resume and a brief introduction outlining their current role, management experience, notable clients or accomplishments, and why a founding-partner opportunity is of interest.
All inquiries will be treated confidentially.
